Love this show...a must watch! The character development is so interesting and you end up loving and hating them all at the same time!

I think that for the most part, IMDb ratings tend to be pretty much right on the money - or at least in the ballpark of giving viewers a good measure of what is a good or bad piece of film. But for some reason, Good Behavior has a very high rating for no reason that I can see. I stuck with it for season one and the first few episodes of season two, but I really couldn't commit any more time to this train wreck of a show. Letty is the sort of character that you like but also hate. She is a thief and a drug addict, and she has lost custody of her son Jacob because of her behavior and a stint in jail, leaving him in the hands of her seemingly uncaring and callous mother. At some point you understand (sort of) why she does all the bad things that she does. In the first episode she ends up tangled up with a contract killer, forced to help him carry out a job, and eventually she ends up falling for him. This premise is pretty good, and it kept my attention for quite a few episodes. But after a while I started to get tired of Letty. You are rooting for her throughout the season, but she never improves, never gets any better, and always finds some way to fail in her fight to get custody of her son. As a viewer, I honestly thought that Letty did not deserve to have custody of her son, ever again. I got tired of her excuses and bad behavior, and when she eventually does get custody of her son, I was scratching my head at how anyone could allow her to parent a child. There were three things that eventually led me to drop this terrible show. First was the general un-likability of Letty. Second was when Letty sleeps with her ex (Jacob's father) even though she has repeatedly made it clear that he is the worst kind of scum. And third was the introduction of an FBI agent that was truly the worst character I have ever seen on television - a laughably incompetent woman, with weird comedic lines that weren't funny, and a personal vendetta that made absolutely no sense.Do yourself a favor if you are still deciding whether to get into this show - DON'T. It's really not good. There are a ton of TV shows out there that are objectively good. This is trash. Don't waste your time.

I binge-watched the first season of this show and absolutely loved the Michelle Dockery character or perhaps more like loved Ms. Dockery. The plot is a tad thin in this first season, but I was able to go along with much of it and suspend belief just a tad at some of the antics. There are some holes and clearly the characters in order to keep the story rolling, slip through them. The end of the final episode of the first season was fine and while it left me perhaps wanting more, I could have been just as happy with the show ending there. Unfortunately, the second season takes the sublime and makes it ridiculous. The FBI characters, all of them not just the lead one who appears in both seasons, are more mall cop than educated intelligent professionals that we are used to seeing wearing the FBI jackets. The rogue FBI agent is so unprofessional to be merely a cartoon of herself and completely off the reality radar. While she seemingly lends comedy to the story, she also becomes absurd and whatever she touches does as well. I am sure that the local Raleigh, NC bureau must be totally embarrassed by the portrayal. The second season is unnecessary and is merely there to make money for TNT. It is not good television.

This show is beyond amazing. The time slot it has on TNT is a hard one and that's why this show gets looked over. It magically written and there is so much emotion in every single episode! You never know if you will be swooning to Javier and Letty or gathering tissues to stuff under your nose as you cry yourself to sleep. The power in the acting skills is on another level! I truly hope this show grows to a full 8 seasons! Oh to see the drama, I can't wait!
