I thoroughly enjoyed season one, and have been anticipating season two. I didn't know what to expect after seeing reviews (before watching), and wish I hadn't seen them. I enjoyed the storyline. I think Billy Bob did his usual fantastic job as did the others. It was also good to see Paul Williams again on screen after so many years. So without comparing season 1 to season 2 and keeping in mind these are separate stories and not a continuation I would highly recommend watching. I'm not going to give away spoilers. Just watch. I think you'll like it.

I didn't want to believe the reviews but after seeing season 2. Terrible, dark and disturbing. If there's a season 3, hope it's more like season 1.

Dont watch season 2, it has a poor storyline, nothing to do with a lawyer whatsoever, and unnecessary gore that was not required to be shown in such detail

Season 1 was decent and gave me the interest to follow into Season 2. I stuck with it through the bitter end and am sad I did. Not up to the cast or David Kelly's reputation. Not sure that Thornton got a copy of the script before shooting.
