Where to start...I did grow up with the original show, so I was excited for this show to continue the story but with a fresh, new angle and outlook. What we got was stale Disney stereotypical plots, acting and attempt to cash in on the premise of it being a continuity of Boy Meets World. Disney always seems to be over the top with its preachiness and unrealistic takes on life. While I don't think the actors are bad, I do think their acting was stilted due to the "Disneyfication" (it's a new word, just go with it) of the series. The only time I found it funny was when the original cast of Boy Meets World was on, especially Eric. Will Friedle still owns it. As pointed out before, the depth of the original show is missing because of the typical Disney standards (sugary sweet and with rose colored glasses). Even Cory and Topanga have lost their charm and don't have the same appeal they once had. Cory tries too hard to be Mr Feeny, but only comes across as preachy. Topanga has virtually disappeared and Riley and Maya don't have the chemistry of Cory and Shawn. The only time I saw any chemistry was when the original cast came back. This show tries too hard and is very unrealistic. Too much Disney and not enough heart and depth that made the original so great. I think the cast is good, but they lack any chemistry. To quote the obnoxious attempted catch phrase of Riley and Maya "Stop it"...seriously, what is that?

🅱oi if you don't think I was gonna roast this show you're wrong. This show really needs to end. Boy meets World was fire but this show... 🤢 🤢🤢. Man o' man this show makes me want to end my life. Only good person the show is the furniture. The show will make your eyes bleed so help yourself out if you want to die.End your lives!

I'm 36 and honestly I watch GMW and be so confused. The discussions and relationships are so deep I wonder how kids relate. Some episodes I be left wondering WTF were they talking about and they always talk in 3rd person. Also arguments or disagreements be real out of teenage like scenarios.. That's my opinion. I'll continue to watch as I have been my entire life. But can this show be less confusing or am I too old to understand? lol? I get excited when old cast especially Sean be in the episode, if I'm not mistaken everyone including Angela has made an appearance, which makes it feel more boy meets worldish. Still great show I just can't relate like i did when I was in high school watching the old one. #I'm so old. Lol

I absolutely hate this show. It's a cute concept, but growing up with boy meets world was completely different. Disney did not do a good job reinventing the show. What I loved about boy meets world was that it was real, it was similar to what someone was going through.at the end of the episode still taught a lesson. Girl meets world is nothing like that. this "remake" is overly dramatic for my taste. No teen deals with things in the manner they place them in the show. It's not realistically relatable and there's a lot of dry tasteless humor and the whole show is confusing, it's like watching a novella. I think the only thing I like about it is seeing all the original characters once again.
