It's a great and interesting historical drama series. Of course it's not all 100% true, how could anyone know what kind of conversation the people had back then or know about their feelings, but most of the historical dates happened the way it was showed. Don't criticize the show just because you were expecting a different Einstein. Nobody is perfect.

I am totally impressed each week with an incredible journey into Picasso. As an art student I studied his works but I never had an idea what made him tick. One day I visited a museum in Chicago, I think it was there & I came upon Man With A Blue Guitar. I stood in front of it for a half an hour in tears. I finally figured out what made Picasso tick... This series of Genius is bold & I'm sure scares a lot of people who cannot think outside the box. It is a well known fact Picasso loved many women and I believe he loved each one in a very different way. This is probably startling to some but it is life. Congratulations on another brilliant series. Antonio Banderis is AMAZING. Thank you for this peak into Picassos heart & soul.

This show is brilliant. Excellent direction, acting and special effects. If you are a fan of Einstein, you will be thrilled to see such a wonderful show. But there is a big flaw. The editing of this show is the biggest blunder. Even worse than any of us might have seen till date. This show is a proof about how an editor can spoil the show completely. It's a pity that such a wonderful show got ruined. But this should not stop anybody to watch a show that will give you a wonderful experience to remember for a lifetime. Because of lack of skills of editor, we cannot undermine the efforts of the actors, director and producer. Not only his scientific life, but his personal and political life is interesting too. It's a great blessing that somebody thought of making a series of 10 hrs about Albert Einstein, the greatest scientist of all time!

I couldn't not write a review of this after I saw some of the negative 3/10, 1/10 reviews near the top. Thankfully scroll down a bit and you'll see nothing but 10/10, 9/10. This is a really fantastic, excellently crafted television series that delves into the discoveries and the life of Einstein and other notables around him.Watching the warm and intense and completely unique love story deteriorate into the bitter breakdown in his marriage (not a spoiler, you know through the flash forward that his first marriage didn't work out) is tragic and immensely frustrating as you see this great mind struggle to grasp basic emotional empathy or understanding. I've seen some reviews calling this 'hollywood trash'. It's not. It's deeply unfair in places, it's uplifting and exciting in others, there are no foregone, predictable conclusions, it's funny and the characters are multi layered and brilliantly written and acted. Johnny Flynn's brilliant! It's also wonderfully shot. The only negatives I'd have would be that it can, at times seem a little expositional in the dialogue, but rarely, and that Geoffrey Rush takes over as the older Einstein a little too early - testament to Johnny Flynn that such a great actor as Geoffrey Rush has to work hard to follow. They're making Picasso next and I hope by then this goes onto Netflix as no one seems to know about it. I had to buy it and it was money well spent.
