I had started watching Fringe when it aired in my country, and at first, I didn't really understand ... I decided to watch again from the beginning. Dr.Walter Bishop's character was the best acted and John Noble is great. Like any great TV drama, Fringe deserves a film at the end. This is one of my favorite shows because it has some interesting religious ideas. In my opinion, Fringe is the best show in the science fiction category on T.V.

I want to start out by saying it was a shame it lasted only 5 seasons. I hoped it could keep going. This is another one of those shows that hooked me right from the very beginning and right to the end. There are not that many TV shows that I enjoy watching and this is one of those rare ones. I even bought a Selectric because I saw it in the movie. I love this show and it's a shame it had such a brief run. I was expecting at least 10 seasons ; )

I just finished watching this TV masterpiece today and I created an account on IMDb just to write my opinion. I had seen a couple of episodes in the original run, and being a fan of The X-Files I thought that one day I'll give it a shot. Before watching the series I read the reviews and I wasn't that happy but I still thought the few scenes I saw for John Noble deserved a chance. And God am I happy I did, it was wonderful. Of course to be honest, the science sometimes wasn't convincing, and being a doctor I was disappointed by the easy mistakes. Also as I have read in other reviews, Peter's history is a question mark (If the observers never existed, then September couldn't have distracted Walternate, who would have realized that he had reached a cure. So Walter wouldn't have taken him). But on the other hand we have the background story and the relationships that grew with every season to take over and become the main attraction. And boy did they succeed, the family that evolved throughout the series and the pure emotions were so enjoying to watch. Then we have the actors. I was not at all surprised to see the genius portrayal of John Noble to his character, it was Golden Globe level. And at last ANNA TORV, she is simply BEAUTIFUL. The way she understood Olivia's history and how it showed in every scene was amazing. The clear difference between the two Olivia's, made us all understand the pain behind "If you looked in her eyes you would've known she wasn't me". The transition in Olivia's character and how she gradually let down her guard when she became surrounded by the people she loved, was done perfectly expressed and easily perceived. ANNA TORV's brilliance will soon be recognized.

I'll start by saying that this is my first review,I'm a huge sci-fi fan i've seen so many shows and movies, i pay attention to details, and that's probably why i hate a lot of recent shows. I missed Fringe when it first aired, IMDb was part of the reason for that, there was so many bad reviews that threw me off. I finally decided to give a shot in 2017 ' almost 9 years after' and man I'm happy I did. the first few episodes weren't the best but after a few more i found myself addicted. This show follows it's own rules and lives in it's own universe and if u give it a chance u get to live there too. The storytelling is amazing and focused,'I don't recommend skipping any episode'. Walter Bishop is the mad scientist 'a funny one too', cares for no one and everyone ( played by the brilliant John Noble), Peter Bishop the charismatic genius son who never lived up to his potential, who never belonged (played by Joshua Jackson),Phillip Broyles Fringe Division's Leader, a honorable trustworthy man (played by Lance Reddick) , Astrid Farnsworth Walter's assistant (played by Jasika Nicole), Nina Sharp head of Massive Dynamic, the one who always reminded Bell and Walter that somethings r not there's to mess with ( Played by Blair Brown) and a special mention to William Bell the founder of Massive dynamic and Walter's old Lab partner who's even crazier than Walter IMO (played by the great Leonard Nimoy) and Septembre the Observer who is not like the others ( played by Michael Cerveris) and finally Olivia Dunham (I read a lot about the actress being stiff and wooden, but man she's anything but wooden), Nothing seems to get to Olivia but again nothing is what it seems, she's compassionate, passionate and driven and u could genuinely feel that she cares, I think Anna Torv didn't get enough credit for the amazing job she did as Olivia ( and Fauxlivia ) and for me she became a reason to tune in. I've never reviewed anything before but I wanted to get out there, Fringe is one of the best series ever made sci-fi or otherwise and I'm glad I finally gave it a chance
