Every other scene in this show is an emotional one. That wouldn't be a problem except that every emotional scene is scored with incidental music to help the viewer REALLY FEEL what's going on. Yet another show that underestimates the viewers which is a shame bc all the actors are good to great and don't require hokey, sentimental piano chords intruding upon their performances. The show is also very repetitive and needs more complex themes and scripts. For the People has potential but I doubt the show will reach it, or even try to.
... View MoreMade it to halfway through episode 8 (Flippity-Flop) before giving up on this show. Predominantly the rapid-fire banter attempting to cover for bad acting but can't get past the premise that the best lawyers for these high-profile cases are the beautiful new, fresh out of law school attorneys. ZERO drop-ins by other experienced attorneys or were these offices totally empty before the saviors arrived? Just not likable characters (too privileged, too OCD, too aggressive, too.....) even crying in their evening wine (or whine) about how messed up their lives are in penthouse apartments or at their Senator Mama's palatial estate.
... View MoreI could like that tv series it seems fun. But lately when they make the cast people who look like models i dont like that show. In real life lawyers dont look like coming from fashoin show. Its not belivebile and reminds me "its fake, they are acting" Most boring job ever but how they show us, its like action movie every day. I want people real and with their real problems, boring life as well as real life. When they catch that magical mix show makes hit.
... View MoreI love the show. I love the fact that has many stories around it and one episode is not focusing only on one case. I kind of fed up with all this law tv shows where for 40 minutes you see only one case. I am looking forward to see more episodes.
