It's ok, reasonably entertaining and if you have time to kill worth a watch. It might not appeal to everyone, but considering how much rubbish is on the television, this falls on the right side of ok.

I love 2 types of tv series, medical and legal. I watched Grey's anatomy for a decade, I like stories and personalities in there, it links to my personal experience, I cry a lot.... But this is the only show of Shonda Rhimes I'd like to follow. In other shows, it's just the same, love stories with White house in the background, love stories with courthouse in the background, on and on and on.... The reason that I love medical and legal series, people there are really smart, and elegant, but in this show I always wonder, why they are smart enough to go to law school, but not smart to be a lawyer? Just a bunch of kids try to act like one, but the truth is EVEN MIKE ROSS NEVER GO TO LAW SCHOOL, HE IS DOING BETTER THAN THAT ! ! This is not a good show, not good enough to let me to finish the first episode.

Having worked in the profession for over thirty years, I find the script eccentric and overdone. If any true professional behaved like most of the cast, they would be disbarred, broke, or both. Could have been good, but Shondaland can poison even the best ideas.

I'm a fan of Shonda Rhimes' work, and the character development and layers she typically gives to her characters. Because when she does this I find myself caring about the characters and their actions.We are 4 episodes deep into this series and all of the characters are so empty and bland that it becomes so difficult to get attached to any of them. The only character I find myself wanting to watch is Mary McCormack's guest appearance. What I have seen so far is sexual harassment in the workplace unnecessary to any storyline and egotistical young attorneys who don't seem to have any experience or skill to backup their otherwise impressive jobs. I continue to watch in hopes it will find its groove and get better, but with how unlikeable the attorneys are, I'm not sure how long that will last.
