This show is extremely childish. It lacks character depth, plot, logical occurrence of events and a logical character decisions. Top it all with pretty girls with big boobs and perverted men. The animation isn't very pretty and every emotion is exaggerated (yes, even for anime). It's like watching a madhouse. I got to episode five then gave up.

Fairy Tail is just like the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. But it's much cooler in the Magical World of the Battles in the world of Anime, but it's nice and awesome. Nastu Dragneel is the best Fire Dragon Slayer Wizard ever in Fairy Tail. But I'am not going to give spoilers, just only the powers.

GoodCharacters: The characters can be a mixed bag you either love 'em or hate 'em some characters such as Natsu and Lucy you might like them although with Natsu he has some kind of a personality unlike kirito from SAO as a example. Plot: the story takes places before the show its self if that makes sense so spoilers: basically dragons ruled the world some dragons taught humans dragon slaying magic and they killed all the dragons yet a few lived and it reaches modern day fairy tail where lucy the 17 year old girl who ran away from home tried to join a guild named and you guessed it, Fairy tail. Animation: This is hard to tell as its changes the first "series" (1-175) is done from A-1 pictures and Satelight yet in the second "series"it was done by A-1 and bridge the first series was had its own art style yet still tried to mimic the manga style yet in the second series its looks like the manga yet the colors look dull and washed out Ost: OK Im a bit biased since I love Irish like music so I like the ost but its not all Irish type it has Orchestral, Rock-ish Etc so I really love the ost to the showSetting: The setting is a place called Fiore and wow its a very diverse area it has the obvious guilds, towns, Etc yet so much happens to it, It has more charterer development then kirito from SAO and it explores other areas and SPOILERS: It goes to a alternate damnation called Edlos and they (the Main cast) go to the celestial spirit world. Character motivation: Some are dumb sure but Spoilers: Lyon is a good example of both good and bad. As he wants to surpass his master yet the way he does it is kind of dumb as he risked many lives trying to get his dream Spoilers: The filler arcs: The way they do filler arcs is amazing they have the Daphne arc, Key of the starry night, Eclipse Celestial Spirits arc are amazing ____________________________________________________________________ _______BadThe fan service: This is one of the man reason people hate this show the excessive amount of fan service is the reason people are so turned off by the show Filler: OK so I know this is in the good but about 23% of the show is filler but really only 8 episode NOT counting the filer arcs are well real filler.

In India,some of the most popular anime series are DBZ,Naruto,Pokemon,etc.. Fairy Tail probably is not as popular as those but is as good as those. All the characters are funny and serious at the same time.It is an outstanding anime series.The story line and the plot is also good. The animation is superb. Actually It is getting better and better in every season.There are 7 seasons till now.The pace of this series is pretty smooth. Friendship is the main source of this anime. It is the kind of anime that will keep you at the edge of your seat while watching. But it may contain some nude scenes or half nude scenes. Maybe it's created for adults.. hey who am I kidding? children can watch too.. At the end of the day it's anime only. I hope it will be more popular in India in Coming years.
