Ezel is an excellent Turkish show, well worth the watch. The acting is convincing, the story interesting and well developed. My only criticism is of the lead actress who plays Eysan. Her acting is mediocre, and she is is too annoying and unattractive to be convincing in that role. Considering how many beautiful Turkish women there are, it is a shame that they did not pick someone more alluring, less annoying, and overall more convincing for the "vixen" role of Eysan. She is so drab, boring, forgettable, and just plain irritating that it is almost painful to watch. That said, the actors who play Ezel, Ali, and Ramiz do a phenomenal job. Kenan İmirzalıoğlu is superb, and for the most part makes up for the lack-luster looks and performance of his counterpart, Eysan. Honestly, I have been hoping they will kill her off to just get her off the screen. She is terrible. Thankfully, the characters of Ezel, Ramiz, and Ali have kept me watching. They are multi-layered, intriguing, and weave a compelling tale. I highly recommend this show.

Ezel is a crime drama TV series.Ezel is my favorite Turkish TV Series. It was a great Story and very well acting. It's over the Turkish standard. But later 71 episode are too much for this story they could the series in the middle of the story i feel a bit bored because the series was drawn a bit. But Nevertheless a great series with amazing characters.I would recommend everyone who loves some "shadow games". Where you have too think what does happened now or something like what is he up to? (Spoiler) I love the genius from Ramiz (Tuncel Kurtiz) which had some nice plans which was great to see.

Ezel is a Turkish crime drama TV series. It's an impressive series.Betrayal dissever them. Revenge that will bring them together. Each betrayal begins with love. There is much more than a story in this series. There are individual stories of each character. Ramiz Uncle's story... Kenan Birkan's story... Eysan and Omar's story... This is the favorite part of the series. One of the important things of the series also preached. Ramiz Uncle's preachers... Nobody is not good also not bad. And flashback scenes. Flashback scenes sine qua. I congratulate series team. Artists selected very good. Kenan Imirzalioglu, Cansu Dere, Haluk Bilginer, Sarp Akkaya, Baris Falay and a lot of artists. This series has a different place for me. Tuncel Kurtiz a great actor. Rest in peace... 10/10

A great TV series. But not only in Turkish TV standards. It's tremendous mix of action, crime and drama. Ezel is loosely based on Alexander Dumas' masterpiece Count of Monte Cristo. After betrayal his best friends and love of his life, Omer returns with a new face, new identity and with a flawless revenge plan. And a new name: Ezel. But story is not like what it seems. It has so many themes and back stories. Direction is quite different than other TV series. Narrative with flashbacks quite effective. Every episode is like a movie. Wonderfully written script is full of secrets and surprises. You just can't predict what is going to happen next. All the actors are magnificent. (But Cansu Dere is trying so hard. She is god awful actress.) Especially Kenan Imirzalioglu (which is the best actor of his generation) and Tuncel Kurtiz are awesome. Tuncel Kurtiz's character Ramiz Karaeski is a phenomenon. He is like a god and full of mysteries. You have to see it to believe it.I would strongly suggest that anyone who has not yet seen it give it a try. Definitely is the best TV series ever made in Turkey.
