Interesting travel scenes, since required being a travel show for "Travel Channel", but, wow, same familiar TV formula... several minutes of pre-fill at start; re-due same last two minutes again when return from commercial cut; (hey, just like History channel, etc.!), and redundancy recipe continues in not having content. Is a show about traveling to a place in follow-up on conjecture/leads (at what expenses? Great work to get, but not an actor/"archaeologist." Besides my teeth aren't bleached white enough, for Indiana Jones jungle work). And, never any content. So, the story is about everything else... the bones that turned out to be cow bones. The plane wreckage, that's of another WWII crash site (and known diver site, but do pay to run a sonar camera over site anyway), crossing scary bridges...which were just made by crew (Thanks Bear Grylls!), or he would be so safety roped up upon crossing. Oh and why are most searches, especially in a jungle, at night...and use burning palm fronds for light(?) Humm... (they do have these thing called flashlights and portable construction LED lights). More phony fill. More everything but the obvious. But,,, show is still running, current people mentality still paying. Of course they are. Hum... me thinks I'll do a show about... looking for ghosts...but never find anything. Probably get 50 seasons. Or, maybe just looking for people's lost senses. Anyone interested in paying for my travel?

Like the idea of this show. Camerawork is great and I like Josh as a host. You don't see the mysteries solved, but there are enough facts included to pique interest .....I always end up looking for more information about the story afterwards. Having said all that... This program suffers from the same obnoxious and idiotic "enhancements" that so many others do these days.. Too many commercials Constant popup promos for other shows - can I just watch this one please ? ! Annoying tweets that take up half the screen. Makes it impossible to SEE the great video and experience the location. In short . ...promising idea that just ends up annoying me because I CAN'T SEE IT BEHIND THE JUNK. I'm not wasting my time anymore .

Josh can be entertaining but the show desperately needs to find something or at very least add something to the subject matter. Also, has anyone ever noticed in the beginning during the setup from Josh's office every paper article he holds is torn from the newspaper or magazine? They all have ridiculously jagged edges. Has this guy ever heard of scissors? C'mon...who does that?

So happy Josh and co are back. Love the show. I look forward to his adventures and silly nature. Keep up the great work! Love all the info you uncover.. research that we as viewers would never know. Getting the local folks involved is a great way to learn more about a subject. I"m glad the show is strictly Josh an not a bunch of other tag a longs that have no personality like on destination truth. Josh is likable and makes the show fun to watch while learning about history. So far this season Robin hood was really fun to watch unfold! King Arthur was just as interesting. Genghis Chan.. not so much But I will keep on watching as I really enjoy the show. Travel Channel did itself a favor when adding Josh Gates to the lineup
