Just a heads up for adults who are looking for a AI themed series, it is a series for teenagers. Don't get me wrong it is a fantastic show for young ones but I was looking for something a little more serious. The series tries to inform teenagers about science and teenage issues in a non judgmental capacity. Please ignore the below lines, they are copy/paste of above as IMDb doesn't let me write a review which is less than 10 lines.Just a heads up for adults who are looking for a AI themed series, it is a series for teenagers. While seemingly getting not much attention, at least here at IMDb, this nice little show for young people is surprisingly well made and also watchable for parents. It's about Eve (of course), and Eve is a high tech robot, we would call it an AI. It is very sophisticated built, so (surprise, surprise!) it looks like a human girl. She /it is the result of a project called 'Eternity', led by a suddenly disappeared and genius scientist, at a high tech Company named 'Calimov Systems' (I have no clue where that name comes from, maybe 'Calimero').In an attempt to save her from deconstruction by the new leader of the company, one of their technicians, together with his son, steals Eve after activating her, instead of destroying her to prevent her advanced technology from being misused by the new reckless owner of the company, and brings her to his home in order to hide her.Soon the nature of Eve is - not quite voluntary - revealed to the closest friends of the son, Will, and from now on she has to act as a new family member, causing permanent trouble for Will, his friends, and especially his father, who areprotecting Eve from all the people demanding access to her fabulous technology, including the military. There is a lot of fun in here, mostly coming from the difficult situations where Eve has to adopt human behavior patterns, and to integrate herself into the society of her family's neighborhood. It's not only comedy, but also thoughtful elaborated, so that one could see how strange common things today are, if they are encountered by an alien.Unlike the great Alf, Eve has much more possibilities of interaction with people, and is constantly in a process of assimilation and integration, but always staying 'herself', as she seems to be built with a certain character and have to grow up like a human (but much faster).Poppy L. Friar, with her nearly extra-mundane look and acting, is perfectly chosen as Eve, as is the rest rest of her 'family' and every other character. Production values are solid, and there is a good storyline which never becomes boring.I am now past episode 7 and hope in advance for a season 2.
