My first review on here!!!!! OK straight to it, the only reason I give this even a 3 is because the acting by most of the cast is actually great........the scripts are what killed this for me. These poor people have to waste their awesome talent on this. It is clear that Joe Swanberg promotes open cuckoldry and feminism. Nothing wrong with this......to each his own, except the the theme of his show and the given summary is misleading. Every male character is emasculated in some way or the other. the female characters pretty much dominate their male counterparts psychologically, career wise, sexually and even physically(first episode of season 2). It all seems so unrealistic. We are only ever given a glimpse of 2 alpha males(season 1 "controllada" and season 2 "open marriage") and their sole purpose was to serve as a catalyst to belittle the main male character( the guy one woman cheats with and the guy the other woman uses to "cuck" her husband in an open marriage...... an idea which she clearly planted in him to serve her own agenda). Even Orlando Bloom's character is made to be paired with women whom even if he weren't a movie star, He would still be way out of their league (literally the most laughable episode of them all).Feminists would enjoy this series, mass audience......not so much. I'd be surprised if this gets renewed.

(season 2 spoilers? i guess?) Just awful. I remember i liked the 1st season. This second season is the most cringe worthy thing I ever seen. It keeps making this effort to sound edgy and inclusive, when it really just keeps spreading some gigantic BS. The series keep talking about feminism, like the movement is individuality, sexuality, and self centered empowerment. Nothing about rights, and struggle, and the community. There's even this sketch of a sex worker that puts down other's women's point of view, giving the idea, if your not up to sex working you are conservative. It was painful to watch, too bad, the series had potential.

Obviously highly inspired by far better online series turned HBO jewel "High Maintenance", "Easy" takes us on a leisure ride through everyday lives of some usually ordinary people. With the same concept of loosely connected characters throughout the season we have a little window into hopes, wishes, challenges and often relatable problems that the characters face.Every episode is a story of it's own, in my opinion, worth watching. However, High Maintenance is a superior show because of at least two reasons. First one is that it always has one more character that contributes to the story, and that's the city itself. Yes, it often depicts people just making conversation in apartments but New York is always present, effecting the narrative with it's presence. The other one is the dialogue which is much more constructed and even though it's casually presented great work is lurking behind the scenes to make it seem so effortless. In "Easy" there is more of an improvisational tone, which shows, and can be admired because it hits the mark more often than not, but lacks the depth that the other show has. Nevertheless, it's an easy watch (no pun intended, I swear) and I trust you will find enjoyment along the way.

Easy to watch. Really good acting. You recognize a lot of things in your own life. It's easy, makes you smile and makes you think about your relationship. And the threesome episode was a surprise on more levels. It's also fun that the episodes are standing by themselves, but that some characters are seen in more episodes. Also, I love that some subjects are still taboo. It makes you think outside the box. Only some parts are a bit boring. You can let it on on the background and do some housework.Nice way to spend your evening. Absolute Netflix and chill ( sometimes even with the " dirty" parts)
