I wasn't sure at first, I watched the first episode an thought "meh", but went back for a second helping. The show is "light entertainment" it's great to have a show where we don't have to think about every little thing that is happening, it's just a basic show and that's actually a bit plus for it.It has a great bunch of characters and yes the character of Michael is a little over-animated, but it's so part of him that it works. It's kind of like the Titus character in Kimmy Schmidt.Fortune Feimster is great in this and is well used. The episode where she joins a rival gym is pretty funny.Meanwhile, Andy Favreau's right ear is a little misshapen, it's one of those little things that once I saw it, I can't un-see it and it draws my attention constantly.So in short, I really liked the show, and by the end of the 10-episode first run I was quite drawn to the characters.

It´s funny and uplifting. Even though most of the rewiews are bad i watched it in one sitting. I recommend it to smeone who needs get in a good mood.

Watched first episode barley made it through went back and watched a couple later episodes just as bad. The kid makes me want to just barf up a lung. How is this kid supposed to be 15 from a small town but acts like a 50 year old NYC queen. The whole thing is not funny at all and frankly would think the lgbqt groups would be up in arms about the massive stereotypes this kid unleashes. The writers should be taken out and beaten and the creators should be dropped off the nearest bridge

But why is the guy who plays the Dean of the school not on the IMDB list?
