Well i don't watch Celeb juice as much anymore as it has got old to me, but i do think it is good, it does make me laugh, it is risky, rude, offensive... but it is Keith Lemon.. what do people expect, that is how his character is meant to be... he is meant to be rude, offensive, annoying etc. If you don't like it then there are always other channels you can watch. There are a lot worse shows on TV now days.I like the character Keith Lemon, he is funny, risky etc and i think if there was a different host, it wouldn't be celeb juice anymore, he would be missed, no one is as risky as him. It is not just him being funny, it is the things he says, they shock you, you wouldn't expect someone on TV to say the stuff he does so you laugh in shock. It makes a change from programmes being so serious and professional, c'mon it is good to see a show where celebs can be themselves and have a laugh instead of being stuck up and boring.I think the main people who won't like this are the people that aren't from England, i think England has the more risky, down to earth comedy / shows etc, other places seem to have more clean (for me boring ) comedy. I do and have always preferred English comedy but everyone has their own preferences. You will obviously like what you are personally used to.I think people need to give this show more of a chance and don't judge after seeing just 1 of the programmes, you can't pretend you know all about it after watching one 1 hour show.I think it deserves a 7 out of 10.
... View MoreThe concept was good and the guests were very funny (This episode had Al Murray, Holly Valance and a few others I have never heard of before), but the "host" was a tool. It started off like an English version of the Aussie TV show 'Good News Week' and I thought it might have had a bit of potential, but after watching one episode I just wanted to gouge my eyes out and wear headphones playing white noise at high volume! He was not funny and the show seemed to revolve around his antics, yelling and stupid voices that just had me staring in disbelief. I do understand that the host is obviously playing some sort of character but it did not make it any funnier, perhaps if he was just being normal it would have had more appeal to me.With a different host this show would be a lot better. It is clearly popular in the UK as it has survived for 8 seasons now, but I cannot get past the host, he just grates on me too much. I can see why channel seven (Aussie local station) ran it so late at night.I have no intentions of watching another episode, I would rather be water boarded.Sorry to the fans of this show, to which there seem to be many, but to me the host ruined too much!
... View MoreI was interested to see where Leigh Francis would take "Keith Lemon". After seeing "Keith" appear in "Bo Selecta" and "Very Brilliant World Tour", Leigh has developed "Keith" further. The "game show format" just provides a platform for "lurid comedy escapades". I watched my first episode with tears of laughter streaming down my face. Im not a fan of the game show, thats not really a game show where there are a panel and each side just tries to be funnier than the other, but this works and is hilarious because the guests are put through some of the funniest stuff I have ever seen! My only negative is the continued use of Jedward, but the games in which they are involved are mildly amusing and Keith often steals the lime light, so its only a minor negative. I look forward to watching every week.....Shhh Ting!!
... View MoreWhen I first heard Keith Lemon was going to be hosting this show I was a little bit nervous, as he has appeared on Bo Selecta and A Bear's Tail and there was nothing really good about the character, and he was a bit bland and softly spoken. However, for this show the character has developed to be a lot more crazy and rude than ever before, and it works. Some jokes win and some weeks it is really funny, other weeks it can be a bit boring depending on what guests there are on it.The show is your typical quiz show, but where Celebrity Juice wins is that it's not censored, rude and damn right funny.
