I guess this show is okay. I mean, it could be a lot worse. At least the characters actually have personality and they don't all sound the same. The humor isn't actually that bad, considering this is a show for children. The last time I watched I didn't find any fart jokes, and there is honestly nothing I hate more than thirty minutes of "Hey kids! Let's fart because they sound funny!" I guess that compared to a lot of garbage on television nowadays, this show really isn't that bad for children. Children laugh at jokes without inappropriateness, randomness, or hidden innuendo for adults who might be watching, so that's really all that matters. The only things that really bug me though are the main character Lazlo, whom I find to be just plain annoying (voice, animation, personality, the whole enchilada), and the theme song, which is probably the most annoying theme song I have ever heard (and I've heard Fanboy and Chum Chum, so that's saying something). But that's just me. Other than those, I can't find any reason to hate this show. As long as kids like it and it's good, clean fun, then that's good enough for me.

I don't know who wouldn't enjoy this cartoon. It reminds me of cartoons that I watched when I was little. It is fun for the whole family (my nieces and I watch it together and love it). In other words, it can make kids from 5 to 50 laugh, and I honestly think that it is clean wholesome and fun. Who ever wrote the other comment about this show, just ignore, if you like watching things like family guy then you probably wouldn't like a cartoon that is Y7. I would highly recommend this cartoon for the more conservative parent. Like I said, I am older and think its funny. Who wouldn't enjoy the adventures of a happy go lucky monkey, an elephant who is afraid of bugs and a rhino who speaks in two or three word sentences? Not to mention a cast including a sour, jealous platypus, a gerbil that is a hypochondriac, two dung beetles that are not quite smart, and my personal favorite, a sour, geeky moose who is in love with the scout mistress across the lake for their scout master. They also have a health guru chef, and a whole cast of squirrel scouts, the girls of the series.

This cartoon is a lame excuse to keep kids entertained. There is horrible animation, lame plots, and is simply boring. Cartoon Network use to have a great schedule, with classic Looney Tune cartoons and funny shows to watch on Cartoon Fridays like Johnny Bravo, along with Toonami beforehand. The schedule they have now is messed. I can't stand watching today's cartoons, everything that seems funny to people in this show has been done before a million times in older cartoons. I portray this as a low budget cartoon there to make cheap laughs. After watching one episode I decided there were better shows to watch. The characters weren't funny, they were annoying.Go watch The Animaniacs or Family Guy as comedies, or if you like serious cartoons watch Batman: The Animated Series or Avatar: The Last Airbender. Either way they are more fun to watch than this garbage.

I don't really understand how anyone can sing the praises of this lukewarm show. The writing is flaccid, the characterizations are weak, and the plots are virtually non-existent. True, Raj, the elephant with the Indian accent, is quite amusing, and Edward, the platypus with the chip on his shoulder, provides nice counterpoint to Lazlo, the overly cheerful spider monkey. But--and I speak here as a die-hard fan of the Cartoon Network who can stare at Billy and Mandy, Foster's, etc., for hours without end--I feel no compulsion whatsoever to watch even fifteen minutes' worth of Lazlo's lame doings, even if it is competently drawn. Sorry.
