I am not particularly a fan of reality television and watch very little of it. So, the fact that I watched and enjoyed "Better Late Than Never" is a bit surprising. So why did I like the show? Well, it's really hard to put into words but I'll try. Four VERY disparate older celebrities (Terry Bradshaw, Henry Winkler, William Shatner and George Foreman) across Asia (season one) and Europe/North Africa (season two) and watch these geezers have all sorts of adventures while behaving (often) like fools (most often Terry Bradshaw). It's basically mindless brain candy you can watch while NOT having to play strict attention! But it's also mindless fun! While it's NOT a show I'd want to watch again and again, the show manages to work.By the way, I did notice that seasons one and two were a bit different. Season one features mostly a lot of stupid and crazy stuff...whereas season two also offers some very touching moments that make the program even more endearing.

I have so, and I mean, SO enjoyed Terry, Billy, George, Henry and Jeff throughout their "adventures, I can't wait to watch the next episode! I love all their excursions, actual heartfelt moments, have laughed and cried so many times I can't remember any program that has delighted me so much! Please don't stop their adventures and journeys. It means so much to someone who has so many ancestors and likes to experience so many adventures and truly enjoys watching all these great friends doing it for us! This is epic! Henry Winkler (aka The Fonseca", you have created a true "jewel" of our time! Thank you for this awesome creation! I only wish I could tell you in person!Dont stop!

This show had the potential to be just good, not great like it was. I have to say, I think this show should get an Emmy for editing. The construction with music, interviews and especially big bold well timed factoids was genius and took the show to the highest level. The concept, cast and journey was priceless, but the unsung hero was the way the story was told. Imagine taking away the scary music from an intensely scary scene and the it sinks from terrifying to tense. This show was elevated from funny to hilarious.I must admit, I didn't think it would work with those guys, but it was magic! Each of them brought something relevant and needed. The diversity of personalities was awesome.I gained new respect for Bill Shatner... all of them actually... well maybe I lost a little for Terry... but in a good way.Well done! I can't wait for next season!

This show is by far the funniest show in many, many years. I loved every minute of each episode. The men each brought their own personality and sense of humor to the show. Many times I felt like I was there sharing each location. I can't remember the last show I sat watching in my living room all by myself and laughing hysterically. The episodes where they were eating a variety of very exotic foods was priceless. One of the best episodes was when they trekked up the stairs to see Mt. Fuji and were so overtaken by the view of the mountain that they broke into Amazing Grace. Many thanks to the producers and Henry, William, Terry, George and Jeff. I certainly hope they do another series like in Europe, the South Pacific or Australia.
