The story of Ben Tennyson, a typical kid who becomes very atypical after he discovers the Omnitrix, a mysterious alien device with the power to transform the wearer into ten different alien species. Ben 10 was once an obsession for me especially some of the Aliens such as Four Arms and Diamondhead, the PS2 game was also great for the time being and above all i loved collecting those stickers when i was younger. The Animation is Excellent and somehow Tara Strong does an excellent job voicing a little boy. Overall this is a show that even just thinking about it makes me glad that i spend all those time and effort back then and it's sad seeing it being butchered to death with that horrible Reboot.

Why do so many people love this show.I think it's kinda pointless.I mean, the premise is creative and original and the animation is nice.I also like the voice acting and some action scenes are mildly entertaining. But other than that,I think that this show is really bland. And out of all the shows WHY did cartoon network decide to give this spin off/follow up series. They could've given a follow up series to samurai jack(which didn't have a proper ending) but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, they decide to give this show one instead. And you know what's worse, those follow up series are even worse than the original. But at least this show is tolerable to me. Oh, and I don't care for the characters either. So bottom line: this show was tolerable but also really pointless. And it's when cartoon network released this show,I felt that the channel was going downhill.Cartoon network,PLEASE put this show to rest before it becomes the next problem solverz.

To be very blatant about it, Ben 10 is a good show. maybe it would not reflect on my rating but it was a fair one to watch nonetheless. the only thing i couldn't help pointing out is how children could relate to a character that has an attitude problem? really, what can this character teach them? disrespect their elders when he has been told many times not to do this, not to do that for his own good and still Ben had the nerve to say to his grandpa, "you're NOT my father!" this was found in one of the show's pivotal episodes, "kevin 11". is that how cartoons nowadays teach children are to do - answer back at their elders that way?! react all you want to this opinion of mine but i was raised to respect my elders and even if i disagreed with their opinions at times i never answer back to them. and as for that consequence, Ben lost his grandpa's trust at the time.Gwen hardly even fared better. she was supposed to be Ben's conscience given his straightforward rowdiness in resolving things. But sometimes for no apparent reason she also has the same attitude factor as Ben. has she ever heard of, "asking or saying things nicely?" there is such a word called tact. and even if Ben at times can be a pain, it does not give her the right to mirror his attitude.Perhaps the only reasonable character i actually liked in this series is Grandpa Max. i have never seen him in a flare towards any bad situation even once. even when he reprimanded Ben for this mischief, he always said it in a very fatherly way. and that my dear readers is a MODEL cartoon character - someone children could look up to.Fine. this is just a cartoon. maybe intended for preteens with a sense to know what is right or wrong. but you must understand that cartoons as in all forms of media can have a very lasting effect of a child's psyche in terms of values and outlook in life. many issues good and bad have involved in this media form. as a classic example read about Disney. For the die-hard and soft core Ben 10 fans, i deeply apologize. but i really had to let this out to do justice on why i lost interest in watching this show (let alone the Naruto series where the plot is five times worse than a soap opera!) until some changes can be made regarding the character's attitude in months to come. and from what i heard, Ben 10: alien force has just been released this month already. let's hope we see a more mature Ben Tennyson this time.

Being 16 years old i guess makes you too old for children's TV programmes now. But luckily i have a lot of younger brothers and sisters and so it gives me an excuse to go back into my adolescence every once in a while. When i was a kid, the best super-hero show on TV was the original Power Rangers. Come on, they were awesome. About 10 years after the Power Rangers first became good, the youth of today is being shown the rubbish that is Operation Overdrive. I'm sorry, but its time to lay the Power Rangers to rest, because the shows are getting worse and worse. This, in short, is a perfect demonstration of terrible children's TV has become. And so when my 2 younger brothers began getting mad over some programme on Cartoon Network called "Ben 10" i naturally assumed that it was just another rubbish children's show. One day when i got home from school i found my brothers already watching TV, and this programme Ben 10 was on. The options were to either do homework, put a DVD on or play on the xbox 360. Being incredibly lazy, i decided to just sit down and watch the TV. 2 hours later i had watched 4 episodes of the show and couldn't believe it. I mean, Cartoon Network had finally made a show that is half decent. Lets face it, the show has every cliché in the book, its fairly predictable at times and also very convenient how there's always a monster around whenever Ben is there. But what show isn't a little rough around the edges? Ben 10 is something fresh and relatively original. I think Cartoon Network Jetix, Nickelodeon and other kids TV channels should learn from this programme and then perhaps children's TV might get back to the glory days of Power Rangers.
