What can I say apart from read the book instead. Had high hopes but the fiddling and off piste screenplay took the edge, intrigue and pace out of the original story. It could've been so good.

Binge watched Season 1 twice in the past week. Not familiar with the book and never heard of cyberpunk until I read the reviews here. I judge it on its own and not in comparison to anything else. I am a huge fan of noir and liked this story from start to finish. Could have done without so much nudity but it makes sense given what humanity has become in this dystopian future. Visually far above what one would expect from a TV series. I had zero problems suspending disbelief and thought that all of the main characters were well cast, especially Joel Kinnaman. I can't wait to see where the story goes from here.

I really really loved the Books. They are amazing. And the first few episodes of this Show really kept me excited for more. And i really loved how the Quell Storyline was envisioned. Although the acting of Ortega really pissed me off. It was so Bad! I loved Kinnaman as Takeshi he played it good, the other characters were great as well. Good Job! But after the "Sister-Storyline" was revealed it started to feel a little bit forced and for me it absolutey did not fit the whole concept of the story and what it was supposed to be. I thought it was completley unnessecary to bring his sister into this. After the sister showed up i stopped watching but after a while i really wanted to give it another go because i really love this idea of the Story. And to be fair, the Show has stunning visuals and so much potential. The ending was meh and it was clear what was going to happen after ca. Episode 7? I was really disappointed. Although i will definetley Check out the other season.

This is the best Original Series I've seen anyone put out on any channel. It has everything and then some. If they do a second season I have no idea how they could better it. The acting was movie quality, the direction made you wonder why they weren't working on blockbusters and the storylines left nothing to want.
