I don't know why this movie intrigued me so much, but after renting it online recently I watched it twice before it expired--once wasn't enough! I love the idea---of 30-something friends trying to make sense of their lives and the sometimes treacherous world of dating and relationships. I also loved how the story began---a 35 year old woman who always wanted to be married when she grew up finds herself, well, not so young, angry and SINGLE. How in the world did that happen? I wanted to know too. But I think that what I really liked about the movie was the fact that I felt like I really got to know the characters. Director Richard Waterhouse does a great job of making you see these people through the eyes of friendship, maybe even love. I liked nearly all of the characters in the film, especially Taylor, played by actress Sarah Blevins. She's funny and kind of adorable as she goes from adventure to misadventure in the film. I could watch her all day. Great acting, nice story and interesting characters. I think this movie is a gem.
... View MoreThis was a terrible, meaningless movie. It begins with three self-absorbed women who are desperate and bitter due to many, many, many failed relationships/booty calls with awful men. When a wise male friend finally informs them that they are weak and pathetic, the women turn on each other. They finally become "happy" by finding men who are better than the men they normally chase. But why would such good men be attracted to THESE women?! No lessons learned. This movie was trash through and through. I can't believe that the writer and director were serious when they made this movie; what they were hoping to achieve, I can't imagine. I am trying to find more words to summarise this movie so it makes up the 10 lines that IMDb asks for, but I pretty much summed up the whole movie in the above lines!Do Not Watch. Its not even good for a girlie, chick flick night!
