We Don't Care About Music Anyway Trailers

From radical turntablism (Otomo Yoshihide) to laptop music innovation (Numb), via classical instrument hijacking (Sakamoto Hiromichi), Tokyo's avant-garde music scene is internationally known for its boldness. While introducing some of the greatest musicians of this scene, "We Don't Care About Music Anyway..." offers a kaleidoscopic view of Tokyo, confronting music and noise, sound and image, reality and representation, documentary and fiction.

i saw that movie some time ago, so my impressions might have been over-hyped by the patina of time. As far as i remember, it was simply wonderful and a must see for any melomaniac engaged with the experimental Japanese musical scene, but beyond that it's a very aesthetic experience, beautiful views of a dump notably and portraits of strong individualities. My primary purpose here is to state that the DVD will be released on December the 10th of this year. Yes, it's been a long time, too long indeed, i know it's an underground movie but i hope the authors didn't intend that delay between showing that to only a happy few and a more global public release in order to "hype" the thing or whatever...

I really enjoyed this Documentary about this particular kind of music and artistic performances from a few Japanese artist. I saw this documentary 3 years ago in Lausanne (Switzerland) during the Underground film and music festival. The audience was really enthusiastic about this movie and all the review were really positive. After 3 years I thought to re watch this Movie but it's impossible to find it. The sad thing is that right now you can buy this doc trough ITunes, Amazon, Vimeo, ... but it's only available for USA costumers. The movie project was made by a France group and it's impossible to buy the DVD in Europe?? this is really stupid.
