I always liked Brian "Stone Cold" Bosworth, and will watch anything he appears in. Having said that, I would not care to see "Spill" (aka "Virus") a second time. Bosworth plays a national security chief who crosses paths with the usual government renegades when a truck full of illegal toxins crashes in a national park and the bad guys decide to cover up the incident, even if it means murdering a bunch of witnesses. You say you've heard this plot before? The action scenes are OK, but this one is a bare-bones thriller that appears to have been shot for video. For Bosworth fans only. For those of you too young to remember, Bosworth first appeared in an early 1990s action flick, "Stone Cold." Wrestler Steve Williams (aka Austin) later picked up the title of that movie and adopted it for his ring nickname.

I concur; this is without a doubt one of the worst movies ever made. Do not watch it. It seemed *much* longer that it was, was quite tedious and overall just a horrible movie. Gaping plot holes, bad acting, you name it. It made me seriously lose confidence in the judgment of the people who picked it out to watch. I don't know if it was a budget issue or a script issue or what, but the final product is *terrible*. I would give you a summary of the plot, but I don't think this movie is worth it. The plot is not coherent enough to deserve a summary. The premise is that a deadly virus is on the loose and is going to kill a bunch of people if the heroes fail to save the day. But really, the only people who are going to bleed from the eyes are the ones who watch this movie. If the plot interests you at all, watch "Outbreak" instead.

What to say about this movie? Well, it's unoriginal, predictable, boring and all that. It's badly directed and acting can't be even mentioned in a same sentence with this movie.So the great story of the movie goes somewhere along lines deadly virus stolen, me brave presidents bodyguard will save the day. Me kill the terrorists and so on.What comes to action, one scene has burned itself on my mind: a car driving off the cliff and exploding in midair without any reason at all. Blasted cars... they are sneaky that way.This movie is probably one of those, which are sold along those good movies every TV station wants to show, so it's quite possible to catch it from TV from once in a while, but don't go and buy it, because it really isn't that bad it would be funny. Spill is just that bad, that it's bad and the worst of it, it really is boring.

As others here have commented, this movie is horrible. I mean really really horrible.Story line is almost inexistant, Special effects are of lower quality than a high school theatre production, and I've seen better acting from the folks on "Americas funniest home videos".The only thing which somewhat redeems this flop is the fun you have spotting the inconsistencies and errors... from the folks bleeding right thru un-punctured hazmat "moon suits" in the lab (figure that one out!) to the amazing inconsistent plot jumps this is a real gem.My 2 cents worth... but I doubt your mileage will vary much :)Moo
