I watched this again as it is on the box of blood I bought a few years back. I bought the set mainly to get this movie and I am glad I did. I watched this once at Dead by dawn on the big screen about ten years back and thought it was beautifully shot but did not really like it. Then I watched it the next year at Harvey Fenton's ten years of Terror festival. I liked the nudity but could not really get into the movie. So I sat down to day after I had finished watching Die Screaming Marianne and Frightmare to get into this movie again. I am glad I did its superb. The location is fab and so British, the photography is stunning. Some of the early morning shots made me want to walk through those gardens.Sally Faulkner, what a babe, I was thinking looking at her. I just wish I could meet someone as pretty as her. She is a superb actress and really brings the movie together with the great busy body nature. Also she is so sexy through out. So much so I wish she had been one of the vampires if you know what I mean! The vampires themselves were great. Evil and beautiful all at the same time. It was wonderful to see the amount of gore in this movie. Also it is set in the period was titillation movies were taking the country by storm and it does this with avengance but still keeps the horror intact. Pity the makers of the rather plain virgin witch could not have followed suit.

After being murdered, a lesbian couple turns into vampires who feast on the blood of unsuspecting men. Although the acting is amateurish, Morris and Dziubinska are alluring as the title characters. The setting and cinematography are quite good for a low-budget film and it works fairly well as trashy erotica. After all, what's not to like about a movie about lesbian vampires? Well, for one thing, the pacing is extremely lethargic. It seems like about the half the movie is devoted to scenes of people walking from one place to another. Once the basic premise is established, the plot is less than compelling and it becomes somewhat of a drag.

Lesbian vampire film about a couple on holiday who are staying on the grounds of what they think is an empty manor house but is really being used as a pair of lesbian vampires. As the vampires bring in the occasional victim the couple go about their business until the two groups come crashing together.Great looking film with two very sexy women as the vampires there is nothing beyond the eye candy that they provide to recommend this cult film. Yes its a sexy vampire story. No it is not remotely interesting beyond the women. To be honest there is a reason that I've been seeing stills of this film in horror books and magazines it looks great, but other than that...For those who want to see sexy vampires only.

Unlike the classy and sophisticated Daughters of Darkness, this film is pure eroticism and carnage. Two sapphic vampires troll the country roads and lure unsuspecting men looking for carnal pleasures to their lair. After ferocious lovemaking, they are devoured for their blood. One, an oenophile, couldn't believe his luck in finding, not only two gorgeous women, but a 50-year-old wine to add to his pleasure. But the pleasure was all the girls as they feasted on the drunken sot.Marianne Morris had a brief four-year career, but Anulka Dziubinska, in her first film, managed to last a bit longer. It is a shame that such talent didn't go further.Oscar-nominated Bessie Love appeared briefly. She was also in The Hunger.
