Jasin and his vampire brood's time is running out. In order for them to survive, Jasin needs to find a mortal to turn into a vampire to spend eternity with. Los Angeles provides plenty of young candidates. The brood has their eyes set on Tara, a young, gorgeous blond college student. Tara is open to the idea of becoming a vampire, but someone else enters the picture to disrupt the brood's plans. Caleb, a fresh face college student new to Los Angeles, keeps dreaming of a mysterious stranger. At school, Caleb meets the stranger, Jasin, and they have an instant connection. The problem is that time is short, and Jasin needs to convince Caleb that eternity as a vampire can be a very sweet life.

Slightly cheesy at times, but overall good acting and decent affects. The vampires are recognizable as vampires (they made some changes to the mythology but they drink people and don't sparkle.) Definitely worth an hour to watch. It gives the basic story of Twilight only with much more tolerable and realistic characters and in much less time. There is a gratuitous, graphic sex scene from 18min to 20min. (just a heads up. if that bothers you just skip it. It's just three of the Cullen's victims.) Caleb = Less useless and mopey Bella (Film!Bella is less useless than Book!Bella FYI)Justin = a masculine Edward that doesn't sparkle

Jasin (Jason Lockhart) and his vampire brood's time is running out. In order for them to survive, Jasin needs to find a mortal to turn into a vampire to spend eternity with. There are numerous complaints one could have with this film. If you are homophobic, the overt gayness and exposed members might turn you off. But even if you dig gayness, there is plenty to scare you off -- mostly the absolutely terrible, emotionless acting. But also the complete denial of vampire mythology. The film does try to explain that vampire legends are myths, but this more or less removes any reason to call them vampires at all. Sure, they feed on blood... but this is all. Sunlight, mirrors, stakes, garlic and crosses are all perfectly fine. The only part I really liked at all was the flashback of how Jasin was turned into a vampire. But this was maybe one minute long and then it went back to terrible acting. I suppose I could be thankful the film is only 70 minutes long, but it feels like an eternity. Special thanks to Dan McGinnis for finding this gem.

This film could be worse. It's a stupid but kind of cute romance. If you go into it expecting it to be like a Twilight slashfic, as the image and summary should lead you to, it delivers on that pretty well. Now for the spoilerific part- It's worth seeing just to see how bad it is. The vamps don't seem to have much experience talking with fangs, the blood is SO FAKE, there's a random naked scene with the phrase "You have to go through him to get to me" used, a bonfire with a room mate, back tats, "he threw Adam through a tree", and bad editing involving an extra or two. I wouldn't pay to rent it, but for free streaming or something, totally worth the time.

Please TAKE OUT this movie from the history of film making... This is a horrible, terrible, terrible, worst, worst acting ever! I cannot even find words to describe the NOTHINGNESS in this movie. Just wipe it off. Tear it apart. it is a catastrophe! I wonder how the cams did not burn from the fake, lousy, horrible, terrible acting of the things moving in front of it. I swear, a blank, black screen with beep all night long is a zillion times more interesting! Please please stop insulting gays, acting, films, even flowers are insulted in this movie! Wow... this is way beyond anything dumb. Who is this as----- who put a dime in this film! However, I must admit, if Jason Lockhart is well directed, he can do something good.
