"The Streets of the Invisibles" is a 10-minute short film from 2011, so has its 5th anniversary this year. The director is Remo Rauscher and I m not too sure if I would even say "director". The entire film consists of recording from Google technologies, such as StreetView. This content is mixed with the voices of Oscar winners Karl Malden and Michael Douglas from their collaboration on "The Streets of San Francisco". This is actually not too bad of an idea for a concept, but it really is just the material for a one-minute commercial for Google and not for a stand-alone film. Apart from that, it felt so random to me how they chose what we hear the same time we see certain things. There was almost no connection at all for me. Here on IMDb, it says this is Malden's final acting role. But as he had already been dead for over two years when this came out and as it's all old audio footage, I would not say it is a Malden film. I am also not surprised Rauscher does not have a career at all anymore as this is a really weak achievement we have here, even you can even call it that. Major thumbs-down and I don't recommend seeing it.
