The Star of Bethlehem Trailers

Scholars debate whether the Star of Bethlehem is a legend created by the early church or a miracle that marked the advent of Christ. Is it possible that the star was a real, astronomical event? From Producer Stephen McEveety (The Passion of the Christ) comes an amazing documentary on the Star of Bethlehem.

I am a person who believes in that Jesus was the son of God but we are all sons and daughters of God. So the story of the birth of Jesus is "A Story" based on a real incident. What is known about the star is really not fully explained here. The mans visual props are seldom seen on screen. I am not recommending this because it is a bore to watch! If you were there when they were filming this then it might of been more interesting. They its presented here it comes across like your listening to the radio. Don't bother to watch!

This stands out from other films of its type by declaring how its conclusions were reached, offering the viewer the chance to check them independently. This would require the use of a specific software package (identified in the film) and perhaps a little enthusiasm to learn some basic astronomy (which is probably needed to use the software anyway). I have not yet checked the results myself, because I found the case so convincing, but I have made a mental note to do so eventually.if you find the story of the star of Bethlehem and the many wise men charming but hard to believe (astronomers, not astrologers probably, and there were most likely many more than three) then this is the film for you.

WARNING: The contents of my review may simulate your definition of a spoiler. This is not my intent I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend watching the video or purchasing the CD; However because I too have written on the subject of the Star of Bethlehem I only wish to offer a similar, but slightly different research. I would like for your readers to review both scenarios, and that is why I do not believe that my remarks in any way constitutes a spoiler. My review is intended to add a link and not a distraction. I am recommending that Mr. Larson would consider extrapolating, revising or comparing his conclusion with the date of 7 BC as the starting point of the Magi's journey to Bethlehem and June 6 BC as the birth of Jesus. Precess the Star "Vega" instead of the planets Jupiter and Venus and consider the constellations "Drago" and "Lyre" as characters in reference to the writing of John's Revelation of Christ Jesus. If there is any opposition to this review, please contact me by email before taking any action to blacklist my comments. In all sincerity I thank you.

This documentary presented compelling evidence on the events which happened over two thousand years ago. With the age of computers and scientific data available, the "signs" from the heavens can finally be reveled. Mr. Larson takes you through scripture and presents his findings in a way that every member of your family will understand and enjoy. Was there a creator? Is the universe a gigantic clock? What are the signs in the heavens? You will ponder these questions and more as you view this presentation. I found myself wanting more information after the viewing. Larson provides references to third party software so you can duplicate what he has presented. This video will strengthen your faith or challenge your unbelief in the events leading to the birth of Christ.
