I'm watching it online - started last night and turned it off. But then tonight I decided to try watching a little more, and I'm really getting to like it. I recommend it, and that you be patient with the first half hour. What's so bad about the start is the geographical screwups: two of the "Nashville" locations just don't feel like Nashville - they feel like Austin. And in one of the Knoxville shots, cut between real Knoxville shots, we get a good long look at a skyline featuring Nashville's iconic L&C sign. Someone should fix that one. But all is forgiven. In the end the little flubs don't matter. Just stick with it - you'll be glad you did.

It has many dimension,s but I liked that it has a heartwarming story of an elderly man past his prime and a young girl in two juxtaposing times on their lives. I wish at the very end though we could have heard his icon laugh. Burt was a super star in the 70's and 80's, but as I was young kid I never relealized what a looker he was. He was a middle aged man to me then and now that I'm middle aged and I saw some of those photos - wow! He was a hunk! Hubba Hubba!
... View MoreWell written, well acted and not anymore "breaking the fourth wall" than can legitimately be expected for the "wink and a nod" Vic Edwards (Single syllable first name, Two for the second) thinly veiled hommage to Reynolds' career arc. I suspect he's neither as impoverished as Edwards is made to appear, and one would sincerely hope not. I didn't really care for the "Bandit" movies, but Machine, Deliverance and any number of others are TRUE Classics. Note to Hollywood: Please, don't remake them...thank you...
