Only I was going to put this on my list of worst movies of all time, but Rodney Dangerfield had some great one liners and Dom Deluise was pretty funny as a Godfather rip off. This is a terrible slapstick comedy making fun of the Godfather. The rest of the cast was terrible and not funny at all. Kevin McDonald was the main star and he was really annoying. Fabiana Udenio just couldn't even act in this film. Then you have Lou Ferrigno who thinks he really has an acting career. I wasn't really expecting much when watching this film. But I didn't think it would be this bad. The story was just stupid and the references to other mob type films were really stupid. In fact I felt a bit smarter once the movie was over because it was done and out of my life. Did that sound harsh? OK, then watch the film and let me know what you think. Dangerfield and DeLuise must of been hurting on money because great comedic geniuses like that would of never done this movie. Oh well, I watched it and it is over now.

I have seen better parodies on the Godfather trilogy. This one is cute and harmless. It has a couple of funny jokes, but basically the movie doesn't deliver what it should. This movie is more of TV movie you catch while sitting bored at bed with the flew, looking for something to cheer you up. That is what happened to me. I find it extremely difficult to realize who will go to see it at the cinema or rent it on DVD. I don't think the lead was so good, maybe if they would bring someone more experienced to play the lead the movie would be what 'spaceballs' is to 'star wars'.I liked the burp scene... :) 6 of 10

I have to say, this is one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time. I can't even count the number of reviews I read for this movie calling it something like "the worst movie I've ever seen," but apparently some people just don't understand good humor. Other than Rodney Dangerfield's lines, plus a few by other actors, this movie doesn't contain a lot of straight-forward, obvious humor that a lot of people apparently look for in a movie. This movie is filled with subtle humor and little things that one has to notice in order to fully appreciate this movie. I won't comment on the plot specifically, but if you don't want some of the scenes revealed then you might not want to read this until after you see the movie. First of all, the names of the characters in this movie are outstanding. Rodney Dangerfield as "The Rodfather," Dom DeLuise as "The Oddfather," and Fabiana Udenio as "Don Na" are examples of comedic genius right there. The scene with all the Dons is great; you even get "Don King" in there. When some of the other reviewers saw this movie, they obviously didn't look for all the little intricacies that make this movie great. The showing of a small, plain, one-story house as the home of the Calzones, followed by the showing of the interior as a gigantic mansion is brilliant. The cameo by Joey Buttafuoco as himself, and Lou Ferrigno's insistance on being called "Alice" even though his character is a huge, muscular guy are two more little things you have to catch to understand the humor in this movie. I don't even know what to say about the end of the movie either, because just when you think it's over, it's really not. I laughed so hard because you think the movie is over because of Guppy's stupidity, but then the studio executive breaks through the black screen looking for more to the movie. Just hilarious. This movie is like "Office Space" where you have to notice the little things and watch the movie more than once to fully appreciate the movie and the comedic talent of the writers.

I won't lie to you, this movie was bad. Really bad. It was god awful. But worthy of the bottom 100, I don't know. Kevin McDonald was part of the second greatest sketch comedy show, the Kids in the Hall(second only to the state). Paul Greenberg was in the Vacant Lot, a highly underrated show that I still don't get all of. I admit that I lost a few brain cells due to this movie, but It did have its moments of good comedy. Uh, I really can't think of any, but I know I laughed a few times. Oh god, I 'm remembering the impersonations. so bad so so bad.Honestly, Dom Deluise was better in Loose Cannons and I hated that movie. and Rodney Dangerfeild should kick it so that we can remember how good he was doing stand up and in Caddyshack. This movie was bad even for afternoon Showtime.***out of 10Disclaimer: Still better than Hudson Hawk
