I hired this movie thinking that I'd find a good Europen thriller. With the ingredients the movie had I expected a more decent movie. However, right from the start, the first incident with the van is confusing (you don't understand what is the content of the load that is burnt, you don't understand why the driver is stupid and, why are two vehicles necessary to carry that load) Right after you learn that the guys have a 1000 euros problem, not so much so as to decide to pass by so many risks. The geography is funny and they go from Netherlands to Belgium and later to France (by the way, the way to save the France border is appalling; if I were French I'd complain as being taken as a moron)and they go to a club in Paris to sell the pills to obtain weapons that, being a bad trade are useless. Then, they decide to go far from there to get a shotgun. Really, the characters were three idiots. And, when I gave up is when the sexual scene of the girl with the British guy start. It looked as if that time had to be filled someway. All this just for paying 1000 euros and a girl as a hostage and with a threesome of morons leading the film. I think that any filmmaker could've done something more decent. This is a botch.

I was looking forward to this movie. I like road trip thrillers. I like sex, drugs, youth, action and a great sound track. And I was especially interested in taking the movie trip across Europe to see if I recognized any of my own travel spots. From the first scene, however, this movie was unwatchable. What was Guy doing driving on the wrong side of the road? What could possibly have blown up the van that rolled gracefully down a shallow grassy incline? If they're such bad drivers, why would they take a delivery job? And that's just the first scene! Not even bad enough to be campy or silly. Just Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Waste of time. Move on to something... anything else!

I was really ashamed while watching this film. An international blame on the Dutch cinema. The worst lines since Cool as Ice! The script was really funny, but not meant to be. Aargh. No oscar this year. I am really sorry for the actors, they couldn't help it, did their best, but to be thrown in such a cinematographic mess... I loved the subtitling, great job!

I liked the Delivery. But, there are two things special about me. I'm Dutch, and think it's really neat to see a roadmovie being done in Europe (Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain), places that look familiar to me. Also, I like roadmovies, so that made up for things that this movie did not do so well. The first thing that comes to mind is the Dutch accent some actors in this movie have. But, that may be charming to others. Also, there are some loose ends in the movie, and things that are just too coincidental to be believed. During the movie, I let myself be surprised with what was going to happen, but in the last scene, it again became too unbelievable. In short: if you don't mind the gaps in the story too much, and just want to sit back and enjoy a roadmovie, that's different from most as it is European, this is a nice movie to go see.
