IMDb cites the budget for this epic at 4,000,000, but that cannot be. It is impossible to discern where such a sum could be on screen. The camera work and cinematography are at the amateur-hour level. Aside from the much-mentioned head cropping, the picture quality constantly shifts - a scene featuring a redneck couple in a pickup truck looks like it was shot on a non-HD digital camcorder - and character reaction shots seldom match up. The special effects are also distinctly unspecial. For instance, the supposedly important demon emerging from Hell is visually incoherent, as are many of the 'fight' scenes, all of which possess only rudimentary CGI. I rented this in anticipation of a B-movie extravaganza of Danny Trejo and Eric Roberts schlock, but I was robbed! Instead, I was subjected to two thespian non-entities with Danny and Eric making the odd appearance (and I have no idea what Eric Roberts' character was supposed to represent or be doing - probably exactly what Eric thought). Furthermore, the film makes little sense and the conclusion is abruptly reached nonsense, all of which adds to the incredulity regarding the apparent budget. $4,000 I could believe, but $4,000,000? Either the figure cited is a mistake or Danny Trejo and Eric Roberts charge a lot for cameos!

This movie is not at all what my husband and I expected when we rented it from RedBox, but that's OK--sometimes you can find something unexpectedly awesome. This movie was NOT unexpectedly awesome. It was just plain AWFUL. Within the first 5 minutes, the ridiculousness and terrible acting made me burst out laughing. I thought maybe it would be OK in a campy sort of way... My hope for a "so-bad-it-was-good" movie rapidly faded with each poorly delivered line of dialogue. All of the acting is monotonous and terrible--I've seen better in children's plays and commercials; the camera work was terrible--poorly shot and often out of focus; the awful special effects and film stock made the entire production look cheap. Honestly--there is nothing that redeems this movie and I really have to question where the $4 million budget was used. Please, do yourself a favor and don't waste your time on this crap!

I gave it a 3 for the make-up and effects but the rest of this movie was just boring. I have watched many films like this and this is the first time I just wanted it to hurry up and be over. It seems like they edited this movie down because of budget concerns this movie literally jumped from scene to scene giving you a feeling of being disoriented. Which means you can get the gist of the movie but its like in the middle of making this they through their hands up and where just like, let's just wrap it up forget making it a decent movie. The editing was terrible the lead male character was terrible, don't watch this movie watch something else because that is 86 minutes you can't get back.

This movie has everything done the wrong way. I am taking the pain of writing a few lines to tell others NOT TO WATCH this movie even if your life depended on it.The acting is unimaginably lifeless and robots could do a better job. The CGI / Special Effects are so bad that they are funny. And there seems to be a storyline which just kept going everywhere. As expected, they threw some nudity/sex, which strictly to ensure the mixture.I don't know why people would use their time and money to make movies like these. Please do not waste your time (if that is the only thing you are spending to watch this).
