This movie was one of the funniest I had seen in a long time. The story was OK but there could have been more to it. The acting was meh. A lot of scenes were plain boring. There were some unnecessary parts in the movie that had me face palming all over the place. The comedy is where this movie shines. The last few bits had me in tears from laughing so hard. While some may not agree, The funny parts of the movie made up for most of the horrible and unnecessary parts. The acting did not seem to bother me too much. The songs were not too bad and the actor choice was pretty good. Over all this movie was not too bad like most people say. Taking all the positives and negatives from the movie, It deserves a 5. Honestly, I don't understand why there is so much hate for this movie though it was a decent release.

After having read negative reviews about this movie and seeing it in the bottom 100 list on IMDb, I decided to try out this movie. Obviously, it wasn't worth spending even a single cent on a movie that has Akshay Kumar as the main lead and is trashed universally. I was lucky enough to be able to borrow this movie from the public library. The movie sets its low standards right from the opening credits - a dancing foetus in scenes that are just a rip-off from opening credits of Bond movies. The movie just keeps trying to fathom the abyss of movie making and never tries to redeem itself. Reminds me of what late Roger Ebert wrote about "Freddy Got Fingered" - "This movie doesn't scrape the bottom of the barrel. This movie isn't the bottom of the barrel. This movie isn't below the bottom of the barrel. This movie doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence with barrels." There is nothing in this movie that is worth mentioning - because this movie lacks anything that has semblance to the art of movie making - acting / story / direction / dialogues. This movie does not even fall in the category "so bad it is good". The movie is just based on the recent Bollywood premise that if you hire popular actors, spend money on promotion and promote it as a "brainless entertainer", there is a certain demographic that will flock to theatre to spend their (or their parent's) hard earned money. It is just like flipping a coin - some movies end as winners, some end being losers. Equally disappointing is the fact that movies that were released after "Tees Maar Khan" have followed this formula and have earned big bucks.I do not have any admiration for Akshay Kumar's acting skills since I saw "Deedar" in theatres 20 years ago. And after 20 years, his wooden face and expressions haven't changed a bit. To expect any acting from Katrina would be akin to expect that mortal can create miracles and cure human beings. But what is painful is to see talented actors like Anjan Shrivastav, Sudhir Pandey or Apara Mehta in roles that are an insult to their acting talents. And somehwere along the lines I have a suspicion that this movie, although credits Farah Khan as director, is ghost directed by her hubby, Shirish Kunder (who has four or five other credits to his name in this movie). Farah has done a decent job in "Om Shanti Om".I have given one star only because a)IMDb does not allow negative star ranking b) you can see Farah's choreography skills in the "Sheela" song.

Farah Khan's third installment of masala potboilers, Tees Maar Khan is a total washout! This is nowhere close to Main Hoon Na or for that matter entertaining Om Shanti Om. TMK is entertaining, yes! But only in parts and pieces - while the rest of the film is a dull fare and absolutely senseless. Absurd, weird and utter nonsense! More so, looks like a C grade Bollywood Masala Film and worse - actors like Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and the rest are too loud in the film that our Ear Buds would need relaxation!Tabrez Khan aka Tees Maar Khan is an internationally wanted con artist infamous for his "half-ROBin Hood" act. He has his three sidekicks who are seen hitting Men! A C-grade film actress as his lady love and a Bollywood Superstar dreaming of an Oscar - are all caricatures of this NO PAISA VASOOL film! Heavily inspired by an Italian film, 'After the Fox'. And how is 'After the Fox' plagiarized by Shirish Kunder and made into a Farah Khan film is thus:TMK is been hired to rob a train that has worth crores of wealth. Its an impossible task and to do so, he enacts as a Hollywood Film Director and with a Superstar (Akshay Khanna) plans to shoot a film at the village wherein the train passes and they plan to stop the train as a part of their film shoot! And the rest, you can easily guess!A story which has immense possibilities of comedy is reduced to actors trying buffoonery - something often mistaken by filmmakers as guaranteed laughter. Everyone in the film overacts and are desperate for every act! Looks like Farah and Kundar purposely gave such freedom to the actors and told them - do what you want to do! Salman in a Qawwal and Anil Kapoor towards the climax are just a treat to watch! Now, tell me - Do you actually want to C this C grade film? If there is something that is worth watching, is just the C-eela Ki Jawaani! which deserves to be of a repeat value in the Big Screen!Overall, there is nothing gr8 about this film, and can be watched at your leisure when it hits the Small Screen pretty soon! And yes, Farah - Shah Rukh KHAN guarantee Hits and Blockbusters to you, but a Tees Maar KHAN't, and that is damn sure!

Just like 1997-1999, 2008-2010 was a horrible year for Akshay Kumar. All his movies after the super hit Singh is Kingg flopped badly. Although Housefull was a hit film, all his other films flopped. Tees Maar Khan was Akshay Kumar's last release in 2010. The movie is an example of a D Grade Film with absolutely no sense. The movie is about Tabrez Mirza Khan aka Tees Maar Khan(Akshay Kumar) a conman who likes to con people and get all the goods. He is very clever(but stupid for choosing such a film), he never looses. He has an old mother and his lover Anya Khan(Katrina Kaif). The movie goes on like this until Akki gets an offer to do the impossible. The story's main focus is on this impossible con job which Tees Maar Khan has to do and when he succeeds, the badguys ditch him and he gets caught. But, he manages to catch them and the ending is retarted with a filmfare award series. Story wise, the movie has no sense. The story is basically a pile of silly scenes put together to make you laugh. Acting wise, Akshay Kumar repeats his loud comedy from his previous film Khatta Meetha which also flopped, Katrina Kaif does good in her item number but she's wasted, the rest are all terrible and should go back to acting school however the reason why I gave the film a 1 is Akshaye Khanna. Him as the hungry Oscar actor is really good. Besides his performance, the movie is a stupid comedy and a waste of money. Please avoid at all costs, even No Problem was better than this.
