Attack of the clones is the second movie after The Phantom Menace in chronological order and there is a long time skip between this and episode so beware of that. After the events of the Phantom Mences and the saddening death of Qui Gon Jin. We see an all grown up Anakin Skywalker with his Master Obi Won Kenobi go and investigate a case at a bar.Later on Obi Won Kenobi has gone on mission where he discovers a factory that makes clones and he also meets the original clone himself Jango Fett with his son Boba Fett. Meanwhile, Anakin is given an assignment to protect Padime the senator on mission but at the same time he gains feelings for her.We also introduced to The other clones, Count Dooku, The battle droids and many other characters. This was an excellent tie in to The Clone Wars animated shows (If there are anyone who watch that shows) as it showed events what happened after this movie. This movie and the series was good at explaining how Anakin is slowly turning evil. It's worth the watch.Have a good day everyone and may the force be with you.

Just like the Phantom Menace, this movie is severely underrated. Just like the Phantom Menace, I do not understand why this movie receives a ton of hate. It does not deserve to be compared to films like Batman and Robin and Jaws: The Revenge. This movie is a great addition to the Star Wars franchise.Storytelling: This movie had a very solid story. The movie's story was about Anakin stepping closer and closer to the dark side, and the beginning of the Clone Wars.It has been 10 years since Anakin became Obi-Wan's apprentice. Anakin is now under a lot of stress. The Jedi do not treat him very well. The Jedi would not allow Anakin to visit his dying mother. This put Anakin in a position to fall in love with Padme, even though attachment is forbidden for a Jedi. When the two arrived on Naboo to hide from Padme's assassin, Anakin began to fall in love with Padme. Padme tells Anakin they are not able to fall in love, and that if they kept it a secret, it would destroy them. That night, Anakin had a nightmare of his mother's death. This forced Anakin and Padme to go to Tatooine. Anakin found his mother and she died his arm. This is when Anakin truly tasted the dark side and slaughtered the sand people. Padme comforted Anakin after the incident. When Anakin and Padme found out Obi-Wan has been captured on Geonosis, they decide to go after him. After they get captured, Padme confessed her love to Anakin. After the Battle of Geonosis, Padme and Anakin get married. They will live a lie keep their love in secret. This is the beginning of the downfall of Anakin Skywalker and the beginning of the creation of Darth Vader. In this movie, Palpatine secretly was involved in the creation of the clones and the beginning of the Clone War. Palpatine will use the war to become Emperor, wipe out the Jedi Order. Characters: Most of the characters were well-written, except for a few. Anakin: Well-written character who is selfless, lustful, and in pain. This movie perfectly sets up his rise to Darth Vader.Padme: Well-written character who cared about diplomacy and truly loved Anakin, despite his flaws. Obi-Wan: Out of character. His patient and fatherly side was not shown in this movie. It is said he is like a father to Anakin but that is not shown in this movie. Yoda: Well-written character who truly cares about Anakin and the fate of the galaxy. Mace Windu: A bit bland. Does not do enough in this movie.Count Dooku: A good villain who sees the corruption with the Jedi Order and with the Republic. A major improvement over Darth Maul.Palpatine: An excellent villain who is smart, power-hungry and secretly pretends to be a good guy.Jar Jar Binks: I don't understand why he's mayor but it's nice to see him back. I wish he had more scenes.Emotion:There was a lot of emotion in this movie. Here are the scenes:"Or be with the people I love"Padme comforting Anakin after his nightmareAnakin hugging Padme before his searches for his motherShmi's last words and her deathPadme comforting Anakin after his mother's deathShmi's funeral scenePadme confesses her love for AnakinAnakin and Padme's marriageActing/DialogueAlmost all of the acting was great. The acting was a little wooden/cringy at times, but that is a very minor flaw in the movie.Pacing:This movie was very well-paced. This movie never got boring. The movie was very easy to keep up with. The movie flowed very nicely.Visuals and Sound Effects:Some of the visuals were well-done. Some scenes overused CGI and it looked dated. It, however, doesn't look terrible, it just doesn't look great. In terms of sound effects, they were well-done.In Conclusion:Like it's predecessor, this movie is a imperfect but great entry into the Star Wars franchise. Though some of the romance dialogue was cringy and a few characters weren't that great, everything else, including the storytelling, emotion, and the rest of the characters worked perfectly. As a Star Wars fan, I really like this movie. I give it the same grade as the Phantom Menace, but I do like this movie slightly more though. Score: 75%

Noticeably better than the phantom menace. First of all the effects are a lot better and not very rubbery. The only bad performance is for Anakin, but I still like it because of how meme-able it is. The action is really great except for the final saber duel which is horribly choreographed. But the part with yoda I find fun. The plot with Obi-wan is good. The romance is so bad that I enjoyed it. Some of the best and worst moments in all of Star Wars can be found in this movie, most of the bad moments coming from some hilariously bad dialogue. I can say that unlike the phantom menace I was never bored for long periods of time. So in the end despite having no emotional impact, attack of the clones is a worthy entry in Star Wars. I give episode 2 70%

This came out in my late high school years and I was so excited. I was looking forward to more movies in the rise and fall of Anakin Skywalker saga. After being a bit disappointed with The Phantom Menace I hoped that there'd be a better movie. And you know what? I actually enjoyed this second film of the prequel trilogy. Natalie Portman, Ewan McGregor, Ahmed Best, Samuel L. Jackson, and Frank Oz are all back, along with some new faces. We get to see more new worlds and see what events transpired for a certain war for the dying Republic. Sure, we could have more action and less of the talk scenes, and maybe there could be a more compelling plot, but this did it decently. The alien creatures in the movie really stole the show. They could definitely make Ray Harryhausen blush!
