First of all, I have no idea what is up with the DVD cover. Those women are not in this movie.Maybe it's a joke, that seems like the type of joke that would be in this movie.Who knows.Anyway, welding mask and swim flipper wearing alien zombies have invaded earth in the 1950s.All the earthian people have ridiculous names like Barbie Que and Herpes Simplex and the rest of the movie is full of that type of humor. The jokes are so corny that it's hard to tell if the things that appear to be mistakes are actually jokes. It's supposed to be the 50s but there are cars from the 70s and 80s.There are several times when they mention that they are in America but the army general gets out of a plane that has a Canadian flag on it.There's even a fast driving clip that is used twice.I really liked that they had a narrator who not only predicted what would happen but he also becomes part of the story. This is a must see for all Troma fans.

Well, as this is a Troma movie then you know what kind of low budget production you will witness. And "Space Zombie Bingo!!!" is no different. You have everything you could ever need in terms of bad dialogue, bad costumes, bad special effects and campy stories. The story in "Space Zombie Bingo!!!" is about an invasion of flesh-eating robot zombies from outer space.Despite the low budget, awful dialogue, horrible costumes and even worse effects, then there is just something oddly fun and entertaining about these movies that Troma dish out. And it is no wonder that they have a cult following. And yes, it takes a special kind of humor and mindset to find these movies enjoyable. So with that said, bear in mind that "Space Zombie Bingo!!!" will not appeal to just everyone. There is a lot of comedy in the movie, both in-your-face and sublime. For example, the name and slogan of the TV Channel which was 'Kill TV, where bodies count'."Space Zombie Bingo!!!" is everything you would expect from Troma. I like the goofy movies they put out to a certain degree, but then again I have an odd sense of humor.

So, I bought the Toxie's Top 10 set, awesome set by the way, and in it was this movie. The cover is extremely misleading, showing a bunch of babes. However, this movie really has no babes, although it does have a woman named Barbie Que. That is one of the many gags in the hilarious, stupid, weird film. This movie has the worst special effects ever, however, that makes the movie all more hilarious. It doesn't take itself anywhere near seriously, it is a spoof with bad acting, terrible special effects, loaded with stock footage, and a newscaster who announces some hilarious stories. Looks like the crew must of had fun making the film as well. It doesn't make much sense, it was made for 0 budget, and it will make you feel more dumb, but there is no doubt you will laugh. See this if you want to see a GOOD, stupid spoof of sci fi movies from the 50's. And what a great title!

I caught this film once on late night cable TV (the place to find all good Troma films). Shot on 16mm and video, it was obviously made sometime in the early-mid 80's (judging by the fashion, soundtrack and 'music video' references). This begs the question why wasn't it released until 1993?It's a real fan's homage to 'Plan 9 From Outer Space' (1959) and 50's sci-fi schlock. Although some of the jokes fall flat 'Space Zombie' has an offbeat charm that will grab your attention. The washed out faded look of the print makes you feel that it's the genuine article, the gore is Herschell Gordon Lewis at his cheapest and the humor directed to the low budget nature of the film works much better than it does on 'Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!' (1978) and the over rated 'Schlock' (1973).
