This movie intrigues me as one who studies the Bible. There is no inclination that this has or has not happened after the "rapture" which I appreciate. The Bible does nothing to teach a returning of Christ before the day of the Lord. Most of what I picked out of the movie were subliminal things in the lines like the opening of what it was like before and what it was like after. Without going into the movie all I can say is that I recommend a watch, don't take everything to be so clear cut in terms of what true prophecy foretells but this was a good attempt whether intentional or not. Oh and to touch on one thing. Those goody two shoes Christians as you so call them weren't given a whole lot of time to open up into their character, but I would consider someone like Luke to be closer representative in how a Christian should be than what the majority "think" they are. In those times there won't be a chance for wishy washy faith. My words may sound harsh, but I only say them out of concern for those who try to follow men that lead "churches" for their own personal control and gain instead of living for God or finding the few that are truly giving it all for Him. Take care.

I found this movie to be hilarious with moments of genuine creepiness. Is this really what fundamentalists think is going to happen? I went to Catholic school as a kid and I think the nuns there would find this story as alien as I did (but, probably not as funny). I couldn't tell one moronic drone from another. Apparently no one in the future can think for themselves. No matter what side your on you wander around quoting "doctrine" written by others more "enlightened" then yourself. If these are the choices I'll take door number three. A robot is a robot no matter what words he is spouting. To paraphrase the movies last line: "The choices I make may be wrong but, at least, they will be free".

Can't believe there's people who gives a 10 to this movie. The USA are starting to scare me really, people like this, who claim to love this stupid, stereotypical pamphlet are the ones mass voting G.Bush and his preventive wars against the infidels, the axis of evil and those other fairy tales. So so sad.Talking about the artistic part this is probably the worst film ever made.We find very bad acting, a car who seems to appear through the entire movie (with different owners). Enough plot holes to swallow the whole galaxy and crappy ideas who could fit the worst sects out there. I almost identified myself with the bad guys that being pure crap aren't swimming in the wide sea of idiocy at least. And yes, i'm Christian, but this is not what i was taught since i was a child. Neither Christians are theatrical lunatics nor illuminated people disconnected from reality.Sorry for my English

Although many will try to tear this movie down, most of those may be doing it just because it is a Christian Movie. I felt it was done well and probably one of the better end times movies. Like to see more like this. I gave the rating I did, not because it is a Christian movie. That was the reason I was first interested, but it also was done with better expertise than some movies of the same type. I particularly like the character of Luke, showed a great power but never overly used it and because of that he seemed to drive the other characters nuts trying to figure him out. The character of Jeseca reminded me a lot of the actress Jessica Steen in Apocalypse IV: Judgment. All in all a very enjoyable movie.
