Even if the story is so unreal I really liked the scenario, because is pioneer! First time I saw a movie that is merging dragons with the future. I think the story was interesting and ofcourse the casting was really good! One more think that I really liked on this movie was the scenes, which were really atmospheric. Don't expect to watch a movie for deep thinkers but is definitely worths a try!

I loved the film i would watch any time there are a few things they could have done a little better like more dragon fights shown us a bit about how quin got on after his mum was killed and as he came to be at that castle and where he is and little more.but over all the dragons were good realistic well if they were real or not once apon a time the visuals how the country has be devastated withe all the burnt down buildings showing there hardship trying to survive all in all i loved it.Don't know why there are those out there who say absurd things with whats wrong with it its a film not real life its a good film about dragons.

This film is great, I have watched numerous times and it is always good value. What is so good is seeing the emergence of Christian Bale (pre Batman) as being able to hold and command a leading role. He had done so previously but this was his first action role and this then leads on to his future. However, it is Matthew McConaughey who commands and elicits most interest in the film. I really do believe that it is this film that began his renaissance. It proved he could act and could also do gritty roles. This is a seminal film for both actors, great work and good for their future prospects.
