Long and uneven Fantasy Adventure. The film is a mixture of the awful and passable. Uneven but generally OK visual effects are counterbalanced by a dull overlong script. The lead actor seems to understand how unintentionally funny the whole thing is and his comedy works. Rest of the cast falls flat. Sridevi is utterly wasted in a hammy villainous role. The film pulls it's punches clearly afraid of antagonizing her fans. Disappointing.5/10

This movie has all the element such romance, action, comedy and many more. First of all, viewers please don't compare this movie with Bahubali which created history in the box office. Both of these film are in a different genre and their storyline are equally comprehensive. Next, I would want to appreciate and salute ACTOR Vijay for experimenting Puli at his crucial career period than his usual masala film . The performance of the cast in the movie has executed their job brilliantly expect shruthi, hansika and nandhitha who I came as guest appearance in the movie which I felt. Vijay mannerism and powerful acting has stolen the show with the best VFX and graphics in the film . The best graphics and VFX has taken the film to the next level with a lot of adventure that makes the kids to love the film. From now Vijay would start to get more and more children fans. To summaries I would that the first half of the movie started slowly but towards the interval the movie picked up the hold till the end. Please do go watch the film with family or kids . If u have not is a must watch film. My rating for the film is 10/10. the only draw back in the movie was the the flash back which was pretty short.

I felt puli good.Non exposure of the crowd towards fantasy filming.Hesitance to accept Vijay in in something different Made the bad impression.A must watch for those who are used to watch fantasy.And no chance for those who expect bahubali out of it.Visual effects seems fine A regular Vijay fan may also feel bad.

Good: Vijay took a huge risk to act in a fully based fantasy film in tamil cinema industry.This is a great effort to bring tamil cinema to the next level.Bad: Storyline is average and chimbudevan didn't do well in terms of the story as compared to his previous movies(etc 23 pulikesi,IrumbuKottai).Another defect to the movie is the music which could not bring the audience to the fantasy world.Overall: If you go watch the movie without much expectation,it will be good.But too much of expectation will results in disappointment.Anyway good news for vijay fans as vijay 59th movie shooting progress has been made fast as fans are not satisfied with puli.I AM WAITING
