Another B-movie thriller starring Bruce Willis, who seems to be making as many as is humanly possible in the last few years of his career. This one features Willis is only a few scenes, playing the big bad, while the wisecracking Mark-Paul Gosselaar is the petty crook and hero. It's a film with one of those plots involving various criminal factions ripping each other off, and for a set-piece highlight it includes an ambush on an armoured van which is surprisingly well-shot. The film as a whole is a mixed bag, featuring sub-par writing at times (the humour is unfunny, the characters and their plots cliched) but generally crisp photography and solid direction that makes this a bit more enjoyable then it has any right to be. Claire Forlani co-stars, but it's Daniel Bernhardt - who stared out in BLOODSPORT 2 all those years ago - who really shines as the charming second-in-command.

I see Bruce Willis is cast as the films bad guy (yet again they use the A list Hollywood actor as the draw card and cast him as the bad guy with a couple of tie in scenes...) and has maybe 1 or 2 days of acting to do for this film. Previous low reviews have hit this on the mark. I really thought I had seen this film before. A tired out script/story.
... View MoreBoy, has Bruce Willis gone down hill. I would not think he could ever show his face after appearing in this disaster. This would rate as one of the worst films I have ever seen. B Grade? That is far too good for this load of junk. I do not think there was a single decent piece of acting in the whole film. It just went from bad to worse. Bruce used to star in some half decent action pieces but in this he showed us he has either lost the skill, or just does not get offered the good stuff any more. The others would have been fired from a school production. I can see why it only earned 86 quid in its opening weekend in the UK. That would have been the price of 4 or 5 people who would then have warned the nation to stay away.
... View MoreThere should be a Rule. If an "Actor" appears on the Cover of a Video, He or She has to Appear in more than Five Minutes of Screen Time. Bruce Willis, in another Poster Paycheck Role might just make that cut in this Overly Slick DTV, but Barely. The other "Actors" in this Badly Written and Conceived Movie seem to be as Disinterested as Willis. Striking Goofy Tough Guy and Gal Poses Delivering Lame Lines and Trying to Look Pretty, makes this a Cringe Inducer and an Embarrassment to all concerned. It's one of those that's Played as Tongue-in-Cheek to make it all seem Forgivable Fun and the Bottom of the Barrell is the End Credits where it Presents Side-Bar Hilarity with Characters that didn't have Enough Charisma to warrant Caring about in the Previous 90 Minutes. It's Forgettable Gloss, Painted with Bright Colors, Little Suspense, and the Gun Battles and Chases are Ridiculous. Half of the Wasted Budget must have been Spent on Bullets coming from Guns Fired by People that are Firing Range Deficient.A Movie so Thin that can only be Tolerated by the Lowest-Common-Denominator Fan that asks nothing of a Film and that's Exactly what They Get with this one. Nothing. Bruce Willis has become a Deceiving Decadent Whore.
