Pleasures of the Damned Trailers

In "Antonello Giallo's" debut feature, a group of Satan worshiping bikers unknowingly resurrect an ancient evil in the woods that manifests itself in the zombified forms of cult members that sacrificed themselves there some 200 years ago. Private Investigator, Jack Steele (Sean Tigert), while on a mission to help rescue Evelyn Crane's brother Tommy from the hands of the bikers, gets entangled in the situation, and may be the only one that can lay the curse to rest for good. FILMED ENTIRELY IN PSYCHOVISION!

The most interesting thing about PLEASURES OF THE DAMNED is the opening text, which attempts to fool the viewer into thinking this is a lost Italian horror film directed by one 'Antonella Giallo'. Few genre fans will be convinced by the film itself, because the execution is extremely sloppy and the whole thing is an amateurish mash-up of horror staples. I have a feeling that the writer has no idea what a giallo is because this doesn't resemble one at all. The plot is about a bunch of boring Satan-worshipping bikers hanging around and eventually summoning up a bunch of robed zombies. There's a whole bunch of bad actors on the loose, most wearing stupid wigs, along with some gore and nudity. It's generally rubbish, of course.

The makers of this movie obviously don't take themselves or this film seriously. It's ultra low budget tongue-in-cheek horror schlock -purposefully, hilariously, and brilliantly cheesy. If you're a fan of Troma (Toxic Avenger, Sgt Kabuki Man NYPD, Class of Nuke'em High) or other such independent cheese cinema('Hobo With a Shotgun' is another awesome example), you'll love this. This movie is bad as it wants to be. It's not trying to be anything else and that's what makes it soo good. I mean -what's not to love? -gratuitous blood, hilariously bad voice dubbing, awesomely low budget special effects, satanist bikers! And a love story?! The bottom line is: if you have sense of humor you'll dig this -if not, then you won't get it and you can go back to watching your Two and a Half Men re-runs.

This is literally the worst movie I have ever seen. Estimated budget of $2000 that may be a little lofty. The 70's theme is cute, but the modern injections are lame. Overall just horrendous. The Woodsman has better production quality and it is some guys just screwing around. The dubbing made the actors even worse than the already are. The joke wears off in about 10 minutes. I don't even know what to say. The fact that this guy made more movies is terrifying. The sexual promises are a lie! lol It's all implied gay rape for the most part.Deliverance in wigs. The fact that netflix carries this and this guys gets a check is just awful.

This is a joke, this has to be a joke... It's not a movie. It might be a really well disguised sandwich or perhaps some small furry animal that can adapt to it's surroundings but it's NOT A MOVIE. There's no reason to watch Pleasure of the Damned. No amount of drugs or alcohol or mental incapacity will make you want to watch this. This is little more than a group of people running around in awful costumes dubbing lines in an attempt at humor which is an absolute failure. What the film is about isn't important as you will certainly not care after around 40 seconds. This makes your neighbors vacation video to Branson Missouri look like A Clockwork Orange. I cannot stress this enough... DO NOT WATCH THIS GARBAGE. You'll feel more of a reward if you simply put your head on the street and ask friends to run their 4x4's over it. Interestingly enough it is said here on IMDb that the film was banned for 25 years which is a misprint. It should have said no one has watched it in apparently 6 years and shouldn't for eternity. But of course, mistakes happen. I give it 1 star for existing... and that it shouldn't.
