Pink Punch Trailers

The Pink Panther is a chemist who has perfected a pink health drink. When the Pink Panther tries to promote his drink with a series of signs, each of them in pink writing, the starry dot atop the "i" in "pink" has a mind of its own and, to frustrate the Pink Panther, turns green and repeatedly squirts ugly, green fluid on the panther's fur. The Pink Panther is able to restore his fur's pink color by drinking some of his health drink. But the green dot persistently interferes with the panther's efforts to promote his pink drink. Infuriated, the panther tries to eradicate the green dot, only to find that the dot has a guardian - another green dot of a much larger size.

As a child, I loved The Pink Panther cartoons. At 21, I still have a fondness for a vast majority of them. The story has some predictable moments sure and I agree that the laughter track was incredibly distracting and should have been scrapped. The animation while stylistically simple is still very pretty to look at with elegant colours and fluid drawing in character design and background art. The music is even better, the music accompanying the cartoon and action gives everything a jazzy and lively feel while the main theme is as infectiously catchy as ever. The gags are imaginative and very creative, the airplane one in particular, which made the strange premise still enjoyable. Pinky is still the cool, funny and likable character that we know him for and the premise and gags allow him to play to strength. The dot/asterisk is a very effective foil.Overall, solid fun and any Pink Panther fan, once you get past the laughter track, will enjoy it at least. 8/10 Bethany Cox

"Pink Punch" is a quite inventive cartoon. Again, originality, imagination, creativity and comedy are main points in this. But this one, however, includes the audience's laughters (which can be heard when something funny happens) - like in classic TV series such as "Family Ties" and "Mr. Bean".In this story, Pinky advertises his "Pink Punch" drink via numerous placards with naturally pink lettering. On the placard with the product's name, the dot above the "i" in "Pink" is an asterisk. All the fun begins when the asterisk turns itself into green, which is followed by the audience's laughter. No matter how hard Pinky tries to change that, it just won't work. The asterisk is too stubborn to let itself get pink. He even torments Pinky by spitting green ink on him many times (which Pinky solves by drinking Pink Punch) and openly mocks him with these hilarious and awesome laughters.Overall, a very nice cartoon. The only thing I don't like about it is the giant green asterisk because the idea of such thing is a bit ridiculous. Plus, it is so menacing that Pinky can never get rid of the small one.Apart from that, it is a very enjoyable cartoon, with lots of fun, humor, simple but acceptable artwork and other main ingredients of classic cartoons.

The Panther is giving a salesman presentation on stage, trying to promote his new "healthful, delicious, positively perfect beverage - Pink Punch." Each description is on a placard.Unfortunately, when the card gets to "Pink Punch, " the dotted "i" on Pink turns from pink to green. The Panther uses his pinkie (pun, not intended) to erase it, but then his finger turns green. When he takes a glass of his concoction, his finger returns to its normal pink color. The PP then goes to work on getting rid of that green asterisk-like dot, which turns out to be quite a chore! This little "greenie" won't be replaced! It even laughs at the Panther and spits in his face. What's more, it has a parent! This is very original material and fun to watch. Also unfortunate is that here is another PP cartoon with a laugh track - the dumbest mistake the people connected with this fine cartoon series ever made. I finally just turned the sound off and watched the last two minutes in silence, which took the aggravation out.

The Pink Panther has invented some kind of pink cocktail and is making a presentation of how wonderful it is. But a green asterisk has planted itself upon his logo and refuses to budge. Obviously peeved at such interference with such an annoying thing that lessens the 'pinkness' of his punch the asterisk and Pinky resort to an imaginative war of wits that usually ends up with Pinky changing color or being beaten up by the asterisk's older brother (or something). Eventually he gives up and his diluted green punch just ends up tasting rancid. It's a very strange premise for a cartoon but it is actually quite funny with some amusing gags.
