One Six Right Trailers

An exhilarating documentary film that celebrates the unsung hero of aviation - the local airport - by tracing the life, history, and struggles of an airport icon: Southern California's Van Nuys Airport. Featuring thrilling aerial photography and a sweeping original score, the film dispels common misconceptions and opposes criticism of General Aviation airports.

What a great little film. It's a wonderful, touching look at the inner workings of the aviation community as represented by the Van Nuys airport. Lovely air-to-air work, with some of the best footage I've seen, good choices with light and texture, even in the interviews. And then there's the scoring. If there was ever a film that drives home the marriage of image and music, this is the one. Soaring, majestic crescendos under footage of a Pitts Special just cannot be beat. Mr. Wang, you nailed it.A wonderful labour of love, and a great little package. I can't wait to see what Mr. Terwilliger comes up with next.

Even though this production has been around for a few years I was recently introduced to it as an aviation must see. I enjoyed this journey into the world of flight from an airport steeped in history. The production value of the is very impressive and adds to the validity of the story. The sequence of the DC-3 followed all the way to touchdown, the sequences transitioning from the past to the present and the many flying sequences against the clouds enriched the story. Aviation is in my heart and the passion shown in this film raises the emotions to new heights. Bravo to Brian, the sponsors, the "cast" and the production crew for bringing this story to the big screen and DVD for our enjoyment. I look forward to continued offerings in the future. Outstanding!

As a pilots wife (he flies the 777 for Continental Airlines) it's not always easy to compete with his love of all things airworthy and airborne. Watching One Six Right and the other films made by this outstanding team, has brought me a greater understanding of my husbands love of aviation, and in fact, has brought me closer to my husband.I think this wonderful movie should be required viewing for anyone considering a career in flying. Ya gotta love it to keep it alive! I also think a lot of aviators wives would gain a better understanding of their partners if they too took a look. It's true you know; the engine may be the heart of the airplane, but the Pilot is the soul! With great thanks for an outstanding video, Lori Lamb Peoria, AZ

Brian,I just wanted to let you know that I watched your video and words cannot describe the way it made me feel. I cried through most of the video. The footage, the interviews, the P-51, Bob Hoover, the Pitts...................., I could go on and on. You are a master at presentation. I hope you can continue to make this large contribution to General Aviation. I will end with this, the emotions I felt watching your video compare to my ride in a P-51(Slender Tender Tall) in January of 2006...................Sincerely, Mark
