I found this movie when I was waiting for "The Fault In Our Stars" to come in the cinema, and I'm really glad I did. This movie isn't "The Fault In Our Star" - just to point that out - but it is just as real, if not even more. Even though cancer is a big part of the movie, it isn't about a girl with cancer, it's about a girl who knows what she wants and wanna experience the world before it's too late. She wants to have moments she'll remember when there is nothing left to do. The leading character - Tessa - is strong and honest and real. She is well aware of what she is going through and what it will do to her, but she just wanna live as long as she can. And as you might have seen, there's a very beautiful guy on the cover of the movie. He plays a pretty big role in Tessas life and how she evolves through the movie. And yes, of course there's a love story behind all the cancer, but as a teenage girl, what is more important than love? Both Dakota Fanning and Jeremy Irvine plays their role amazingly. They moved me, they made me believe their story and I really needed a hankie multiple times during the movie. So if you liked "The Fault In Our Stars", then I'm absolutely sure that you'll like this one too.

I really had high hopes when I picked out this movie. It's about a teenage girl who suffers from Leukemia, and she hopes to complete a bucket list before she dies. The movie could of gone in great direction except for the fact that Tessa is a total bitch.Seriously, how could any one like her? She's rude and hateful to the only people that care about her.Plus, Adam was just beyond annoying, and kind of stupid. The only good part was Watching Kaya Scodelario and Joe Cole because I really enjoyed them in Skins, but the rest was horrible. we did not even finish the whole thing. Please do not waste your time watching this awful movie.

The front is quite boring but as the movie progresses it gets better. You'll have to be patient with it, but it'll pay off. If you're planning to watch, please standby some tissues, you'll need it. (REALLY) Kudos to all the actors, they did a remarkable job at portraying and delivering the emotions, especially Dakota and Jeremy, very realistic. A great movie overall, since it waaaaaaaaay better than I expected. The storyboard and dialogs was very well developed in my point of view. It's not a complete romance movie, it blends in with other themes well, like family, drama and all that but don't expect to find any comedy at all.

For those who remember A Walk to Remember this is a more realistic, intelligently scripted and more grown up movie about a girl dying of cancer and finding love before she dies. She has a to do list before she dies. Even though we have seen this kind of story before, it actually is able to avoid having a clichéd feel to it.Production is quite attractive. The filming in the South of England is quite beautiful especially the coastline.Dakota Fanning doesn't try too hard to do a British accent and that's good. She gives more of a approximation of one. Sometimes her words aren't that clear compared to her co-stars. But her acting is good and she looks sickly enough without overdoing it. Jeremy Irvine of War Horse plays her love interest and he is earnest and believable. The father is well played by Paddy Considine and his moments are touching but not sentimental. Olivia Williams plays her mother who surprisingly isn't so hands on with the care.Maybe it isn't such a good thing to encourage shop lifting and drug taking which were on her to do list. But in the end it isn't the main point of the movie.Overall worth a watch. For this kind of dying young movie it's quite good.
