Miss Congeniality 2 in my opinion, is just as good as the first movie. Sandra Bullock of course plays the same character, Gracie Hart, and she's just as likable and fitting for the role in this film as in the 2000 film. I also really liked Regina King here, she is very funny and tough, that's what her character is all about. She's tough as nails and won't take anyone's BS, but there are moments where that hard shell of hers is broken and we're able to see her warm fuzzy side, I liked the balance of both that we get to see at different points in the movie. The script is pretty average for this kind of film, but it still worked in my opinion. I liked how it contained plenty of good humorous material to laugh and have fun with, but then also contained good messages with heart. The action is just about the same in this movie as in the first one, which also worked well. Hey if it ain't broke then why fix it?? The drag show performance scene is very fun and enjoyable. Who wouldn't love Sandra bullock and Regina King singing Tina Turner with a bunch of drag queens?? And then the final thing I want to cover is the awesome and very crucial message that this movie proudly sends. The quote from Gracie Hart at the end of the movie is what I'm referring to: "some people may care about people who care about themselves, but I just don't care about those people" :). That is a wonderful very correct message for everyone. 7/10.

Well, at least, there's a real effort to write a sequel. This Miss 2 isn't a copy of Miss 1 but rather a "negative" follow-up: this time, Sandra is more a model that tries to investigate than an agent that tries to model. There are some funny moments, it's filled with good values (i like, as in X-Files, how the agents address their chief with "sir") and the interaction between the girls is interesting (and i think that Regina King steals the show...). But the story of kidnapping isn't really gripping, the investigation looks like a simple brainstorm, the choice for Vegas isn't lucky (it's maybe the only one movie that doesn't show girls or games) and the cast isn't worth of Michael Caine or Benjamin Bratt (who is constantly spoken about). I'm really fed up with the effeminate gay (frankly, Americans really understand nothing to homosexuality) and at last, Sandra, even she has talent for comedy, really lacks of kindness...

The main problem with 'Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous' is the inconsistency in plot that is ridden with clichés and the slow pace. It may not match up to the freshness, appeal and humour of the first movie but it's still funny in many parts thanks to Sandra Bullock and her co-stars and to the dialogue-writers. Sandra Bullock and Regina King form a strange buddy pair but they totally rock the show and provide the funniest scenes. The chemistry between the two actors works very well. Enrique Murciano too shows a knack for comedy and Diedrich Bader may not exactly be Michael Caine but he does manage to contribute to the laughter. I also liked much of the songs and instrumental tracks that were included in the soundtrack. The fights sequences with Sandra and Regina were fun to watch. Overall, it may not be the best sequel but has it's funny moments that made me laugh.

The first film was likable funny, but this sequel from director John Pasquin (The Santa Clause) does not follow the same format in any way. Basically clumsy FBI agent Gracie Hart (Sandra Bullock) is recognised during a big bust, as many people remember her saving the life of Cheryl Frasier (Heather Burns), working undercover at the Miss United States Pageant. She is asked by her boss FBI Asst. Director Harry McDonald (Ghostbusters' Ernie Hudson) to become the face of the FBI, giving a positive face, and promoting her book on TV. Gracie's friends Cheryl, and pageant host Stan Fields (William Shatner) are kidnapped in Las Vegas, but the FBI aren't taking Gracie seriously to let her investigate. Gracie follows many clues for her own investigation to find Cheryl and Stan, with her bodyguard Sam Fuller (Regina King) who for a while can't stand her. After a long while of fighting and bickering, Gracie and Sam do eventually make up and work together, and they are trying everything to go against their orders and find the kidnappers and their victims themselves. Also starring Treat Williams as FBI Asst. Director Walter Collins and Enrique Murciano as Jeff Foreman. I agree with critics, if it weren't for Bullock this film would be pretty much a complete waste of time, but it isn't, there are one or two good giggles to be liked. Okay!
