After taking her successful Broadway show to Las Vegas, Lily Tomlin is faced with a tough decision: soften her act for mass appeal, or keep her material the way she originally intended?

A sharp, funny satire of Vegas and show business. Very few cheap shots (or cheap attempts at humor). A top-notch cast, from Tomlin on down. The guest stars add to the humor, instead of hogging the screen. A few beautiful moments for Audrey Meadows. Naturally, Lily plays her half-dozen or so characters with great diversity, proving again why she is among the most versatile comedians (male or female) ever on television or film. Very funny ending that I won't spoil. If you're a Tomlin fan, or have yet to experience her work, I recommend Lily: Sold Out.
