Danish screenwriter, producer and director Christian E. Christiansen's feature film debut which he co-wrote with Danish screenwriter Morten Dragsted after an idea by him and screenwriter Jesper N. Christiansen, premiered in Denmark, was shot on location in Denmark and is a Danish production which was produced by Danish producer Louise Vesth. It tells the story about a 16-year-old student named Christina who lives in an apartment in Copenhagen, Denmark with her single father and who usually hangs out with her three best friends named Trine, Cecilie and Pernille and goes to the coolest parties. Due to Christina's circle of friends she is considered as one of the most popular girls at her school, but then one day at school, Christina is approached by Cecilie's boyfriend who makes a pass at her out in the schoolyard. To Christina's unawareness, Cecilie witnessed the incident and drew her own conclusions of what she saw. Christina knows that she has not betrayed her friend, but when she sees her friends again she realizes that she has been excluded from their group and is not given a chance to explain what really happened. Distinctly and engagingly directed by Nordic filmmaker Christian E. Christiansen, this finely paced fictional tale which is narrated from multiple viewpoints though mostly from the protagonist's point of view, draws an incisive and gripping portrayal of a Danish girl whom after being pinpointed as a traitor by her friends becomes the target of excessive bullying. While notable for it's naturalistic and atmospheric milieu depictions, fine cinematography by cinematographer Ian Hansen and use of sound, this character-driven and narrative-driven story about the fatal consequences of a misunderstanding where a student whom as become a victim of circumstances befriends a girl in her class named Anja who regards herself as an outsider and begins to change her perception of herself and her former friends, depicts two merging studies of character and contains a great and timely score by composer Mikkel Maltha. This psychological, at times humorous, somewhat romantic and heartrending coming-of-age drama from the late 2000s which is set in the capital city of Denmark in the early 21st century and where the jealousy a leader of group of girls is struck with, after observing something she immediately perceives as foul play, turns into vengeance and drives her to implicate her friends in her personal vendetta against the girl who used to be one of her closest friends, is impelled and reinforced by it's cogent narrative structure, substantial character development, efficient continuity, distinct depiction of friendship, unrelenting dialog and the memorable and heartfelt acting performances by Danish actresses Laura Christensen and Stephanie Leon and the fine acting performances by Danish actress Mette Ribber Christoffersen and Danish actor Cyron Bjørn Melville. A humane, sociological and authentic directorial debut.

Råzone is an awful movie! It is so simple. It seems they tried to make a movie to show the reel life. Just like Zappa did many years ago. But unfortunately Denmark lacks good young actors. Leon are by many still the little girl in "krummernes Jul", and Laura is simply not good enough to play such an important role. several times in the movie she plays with out soul and this is destroying the movie!Even though i consider it a movie you ought to see. I do not agree that the youth are behaving like this, but i think it can show how it can end, if you are letting your child down. Also it is important to support danish movies and new companies like "Film folket"!all in all I think people should see Råzone. Not because it is a great film, but because it is a movies which is dealing with important themes. I also think it is important to point out that there are some violent scenes in it, and actually it is in these scenes, Laura is acting best. - like the ending where she is holding the gun!

Well, I have had the privilege of viewing a pre-screening of this intriguing film. I don't usually comment on these things but I just couldn't stop thinking about this movie!..I have to say that Råzone really is a great film.Is it a light-hearted film? NO! Is it for the faint of heart? NO!...what it is, is a deep, thought provoking, spine chilling look into the lives of young people who unfortunately choose to take a wrong turn with their lives. The lead actors do a bang up job. Stephanie Leon gives such a convincing performance as a relentless bully messed up by her life experience that it's scary! Råzone isn't a mind numbing, shallow, meaningless movie. It's really disturbing but extremely moving and gives insight into why young people can get off track and just how bad things can go!..P.S. Råzone has an impressive musical score as well!

Raazone is a great movie.. I was lucky to see it on a screening last Saturday and was completely blown away by the class of the young actors!Christina is living alone with her dad, after her mom left them! Her friends Cecilie, Trine and Pernille are bad company! Doing drugs, stealing and beating everyone who comes in their way. Christina is very interested in the new guy called Nikolaj. But everything starts to go wrong when Cecilie suspects Christina to steal her boyfriend, Shaid! She turns everybody against her with a deadly ending!!!!The main character is Christina, played by Laura Christensen and wow she's making a stunning performance. She is really believable and shows the variety of her talent. But also the other actors playing Cecilie, Trine, Pernille, Nikolaj and Shaid is doing a great job!!I wouldn't write a lot about the plot, because you HAVE to see it!!! Would just say it has it all!!! Great movie 9/10!!!!
