I loved this show until the very end. The villainess is terrific. I will miss her terribly but after the rediculous Episode 9 I never want to see this show again.
... View MoreSort-of-funny but in a "I've seen it before somewhere" fashion. Progressive left tropes ad nauseam. Everybody is soooo diverse (but of course it never goes any deeper that some accents and few swear words), sexually promiscuous with mandatory touch of mental illness. Once you realize this kind of stuff is everywhere it's impossible to un-see it and really enjoy it again.
... View MoreI really don't know what happened after the fourth episode. It felt like a new writer came on board or they ran out of ideas or they just couldn't follow up the momentum they had established. I'm not sure but I do know one thing. This show really went off the rails. A clever analyst is pursuing a skilled assassin with zero skill, zero ability to defend herself, no weapons and nothing but ignorance and vulnerability. My God. Hard to relate to a character so hapless, so unprepared, so ignorant. The opposition is always one step ahead of her. She should be dead. Yet she loved on. Sorry. Bowed out after the fifth episode. Could have been great. Why Sandra Oh anyway?
... View MoreIt's a pleasure to watch Sandra Oh. Her performance and that of a number of the other players is a treat. However, I just can't set aside the horrible story lines. The plot of an international elite killer chased by a dedicated police officer has been with us since Victor Hugo. It should be done better. How is it that so few are aware of weekly high profile international assassinations? How is it that MI-5, the police, is not involved but MI-6, the spies, is? How is it that INTERPOL has not seen the weekly carnage and launched investigations. Why has the assassin left fingerprints at every killing? Why has no agency collected them?
