KILLER ADIOS is a somewhat unenterprising spaghetti western vehicle for star Peter Lee Lawrence. The problem with the film is that it feels long-winded and somewhat predictable, telling of the main character's hunt for the murderers of his parents, a mystery plot that plays out in the most familiar way imaginable. The staging is okay and the film has a relatively interesting first half an hour before it gets bogged down in endless exposition and not enough action. A pity, as Lawrence is a dependable lead and the director's not half bad.
... View MoreWhile "Killer Adios" is nowhere near the worst that the spaghetti western genre has to offer, I feel that it's mostly for those who are spaghetti western aficionados. It gets off to a good start, with a good opening credits song, as well as a flavorable music score that plays throughout. Peter Lee Lawrence also makes for an interesting anti hero of sorts, having some negative attributes but also some vulnerabilities. As well, the first half hour or so does click along at a good pace. After that, however, the movie kinds of gets bogged down due to two factors. The first being that there is not quite enough action, and that the movie becomes more of a murder mystery than a western. That last factor might not have been so bad had the mystery been treated less casually and with a lot less talk. Before you think I'm giving this a negative review, I'm really not - I enjoy spaghetti westerns, so I was reasonably entertained by this one. However, I will add that I don't think I'll be watching it again any time soon.

It contains an intriguing premise to investigate and to discover a killer , including red herrings , and results to be moderately entertaining , though drags at times , balancing in ups and downs . Agreeable Chorizo-Spaghetti Western mostly produced by Spain and important Italian participation , being rightly shot by the Italian professional Primo Zeglio ; it follows the Sergio Leone wake , including close-up , zooms , choreographic duels and no being proceeded in American style . Acceptable action sequences with rousing crossfire and spectacularly bloody shootouts . Charismatic performance for whole casting . The notorious Spaghetti actor , Peter Lee Lawrence is good in his usual tough role . Blond German youth Peter Lee Lawrence, who made his uncredited debut in Sergio Leone "For A Few Dollars More" (1965), was the hero in many Spaghetti Westerns. His short cinematographic history can be enclosed in nine years of Italo-Spain co-productions such as "More Dollars for the MacGregors" , ¨Winchester justice¨,"Pistol for a Hundred Coffins", ¨The man who killed Billy the Kid¨ , ¨Fury of Johnny Kid¨ and several others . Enjoyable though brief performance by the always great Eduardo Fajardo , previously famous for ¨Django¨ , playing a nasty role , as usual . In the film appears ordinary Chorizo/Spaghetti Western actors such as Luis Barboo , Luis Induni , Miguel Del Castillo , Victor Israel , Jose Jaspe , Nello Pazzafini , among others . Colorful and evocative cinematography by Julio Ortas , filmed on location in Hoyo Manzanares del Real , Colmenar Viejo and La Pedriza , Madrid . Atmospheric and evocative musical score by Claudio Tallino , including catching leitmotif. The motion picture was well produced by Eduardo Manzanos Brochero who started producing ¨Il Coyote¨ and ¨The Jiusticia De Coyote¨ by Joaquin Romero Marchent with Abel Salazar and Gloria Marin . After that , he produced with his company Copercines ¨Vengeance of Zorro¨ and ¨L'Ombra Di Zorro¨ (1962) by Joaquin Marchent with Frank Latimore . Eduardo Manzanos built a Western little town in Hoyo De Manzanares (Madrid) called ¨Golden City¨ with sets by Jaime Perez Cubero and Jose Luis Galicia , today sadly disappeared just like is well shown in ¨Winchester, Uno Entre Mil (1968) or Killer, Adios¨ .The pic was written by two Spaghetti experts Jose Mallorqui and Mario Amendola ; being professionally directed by Primo Zeglio . Primo was married to Paola Barbara who usually plays his films in secondary roles . He was a good professional , a craftsman who wrote and directed all kind of genres as Adventure : "Seven Seas to Calais" , ¨Genoneva De Bravante¨ , "Revenge of the Pirates", "Son of the Red Corsair" ¨, ¨Captain Ghost¨, ¨Morgan the pirate¨ , Sci-Fi : "Mission Stardust" , Peplum : "I Am Semiramis" , ¨Nero and Messalina¨ , ¨Rosmunda e Alboino¨ and Spaghetti : ""The Relentless Four¨, "Texas Ranger" and this ¨Winchester One of One Thousand¨ also titled ¨Winchester Justice¨.
