Despite being a Simon Pegg film, I wouldn't call this one a comedy exactly. While there are some darkly funny elements, this isn't really a funny film--in fact, it's very violent and bloody. Now this is not a complaint--it's actually a very good film and is well worth seeing. When the film begins, you are a bit confused. Once you realize that the film is NOT shown in sequence, it all begins to make more sense. It seems that an assassin (Pegg) has wandered into a strange situation where he watches all sorts of people killing each other! Why and what's it all about...watch the film to see.I noticed one reviewer who compared this to a Tarantino film--and that's a reasonable comparison. And, like some of his films, it is darkly funny but certainly not a comedy--such as what you'd see in "Pulp Fiction". Now I am not saying this Pegg film is in the same league as this Tarantino classic...but it is clever and well made. But it also starts off slow and seems pretty awful until all the story elements start coming together.

No, really. Simon Pegg as a hit-man - Charles Wolfe. It's kind of a light Aussie-American Tarantino film mash up. Think Reservoir Dogs meets Hot Fuzz, but not really. Other reviews are so-so, me personally? I dug it. I was tinkering with some PC's with this on in the background and then it turned into me watching this and occasionally playing with the PCs. Not bad. It has a slightly over saturated visual style mainly in all the outside establishing shots. The soundtrack wasn't intrusive nor very memorable. If you watch the first seven minutes or so, you pretty much have the tone of the film. There's some good surprises and decent black humor. Not sure if we'll see a John Wick/Charlie Wolfe team-up anytime soon - but that would be awesome. It's good to see Bryan Brown in a movie, it's been a while since I've seen him.

Okay, so I've always loved movies that featured Simon Pegg as I'm a fan; I just could not get into this movie at all. In reality I felt this movie was done better than a lot of the later film releases of 2014 and 2015 for it's cinematographic and actors; though the story seems just short and rushed. Kill Me Three Times just didn't have that "I want to enjoy a movie" feeling. Now don't get me wrong the film was pretty well put together, I believe that this is just one of those movies that it takes a sure style preference to enjoy. The action in the film was humorous and cute, the acting felt as if I was watching Hot Fuzz; and for once a lower budget movie had good audio mix. Not a bad movie, I'll certainly buy it because Simon Pegg is in it.

Too many people are trying to critique "Kill Me Three Times", its not the Godfather or Scarface, just watch the movie and enjoy. I believe it was well put together and had some funny moments. A lot questionable situations occurred but nothing too far out of the realm of possibility I say. Enjoy the Murphy's's law of which is the film story line.I need ten lines of info, so I going to ramble on nothing in particular. The movie was good, people are trying to decipher the movie too much instead of just watching and enjoying. Have to say I loved Simon Pegg and his role he played. I also believe for the movie the cast was well put together.
