****Spoilers***As far as bad movies go, I loved this one. It's really bad, but bad in a good way. It's cheesy 90's crap. It's Brooke Sheilds getting her shoulder blown off. It's a slow build up to extreme violence. I did not realize it was a true story until afterwards, but I just knew something was going to happen. The stalker, he just starts stalking it up right away. Letters, threats, weird conversations, it got to the point where I just waited for the blow up. The death scene.Ah, the death scenes. Yeah, it's a sad, sad, sad, horrible situation in real life, but seeing this guy blow away all the characters you just got to know, is pretty amusing. You can't take these movies seriously. But yeah, brooke, blood, stalking, graphic bullet holes, it's a winner.

"Stalking Laura" AKA: "I Can make you love me" was a excellent movie.I have watched this movie over 100 times. As a former stalking victim, it really touched me also. This movie also makes you think about people. Richard Farely was a normal guy, until he met Laura Black and became obsessed and keeping tabs on her. We all didn't know why he turned out to be this obsessed stalker. But Richard Thomas played it well. Brooke Shields played her character really well too. She even looked like the real Laura Black. All I'm saying is, this movie will get you hooked. The actors played their part really well.

Richard Thomas was excellent playing a really sick individual. Brooke Shields was good and too gorgeous for words.Just a word re: a previous reviewer saying she should have just gone out with him once and that she was a snob.. No, no, no...that just encourages stalkers and can actually make it worse. She did nothing wrong...she was the VICTIM!! It gets kind of blurred sometimes...(Sorry to sound preachy, but, I teach health and healthy relationships in HS and I try so hard to help the kids know the difference).Anyway, good docudrama and can help give some insight into these potentially dangerous situations.

This movie was fun to watch because I get to see Brooke Shields. I didn't know it was her till later but I loved the movie even then. I don't think Brooke Shields' acting was bad. She just had to play the role of the victimized women. She did seem kind of cold though. In real life, she should have given the guy a chance. Go out just one date. But then, Richard was extreme in his actions. He should just find another girl. So I don't think he really loved her. He was just obsessed. But don't analyze everything too much. Just watch it. :)
