I Against I Trailers

Focusing on the timeless themes of jealousy, murder and betrayal, 'I Against I' is set over one night and utilises different time lines to reveal a dark and unexpected conclusion to a simple mystery premise. The main protagonists, opposite in character, take a frantic journey into a desolate nocturnal world with the common aim of survival, though once completed, the plot reveals a trap from which escape may be impossible.

Really disappointing film. Plot was no surprise and coming across a drugs buy four rooms away from a potential murder scene was ridiculous. Drugs buyers had automatic weapons yet it cut to drake starting his car. Its high performance so why not start first time? Overall i thought it was disjointed and a poor reflection of the underworld. Based on a son murdering his father and trying to frame two men for it, one of whom was banging the wife! A gangster would example him. Based on the British gangster this is an awful film with a lead who has been made to look like Danny dyer. I suspect the director of the film had more footage to explain the story but this must have been trimmed away as the jumps were so evident and took the story away.Has a hit-man getting paid for murder ever turned up with a hammer? That was an ill conceived idea and needed more coverage

Great cinematography, with a dark plot set to explode and confuse you along the way. A bit to much driving around in a few parts of the film but well thought, could have done with a nice car chase but hey budget was tight and it worked out okay in the end. Good acting from the cast with a well thought out plot. Looking forward to seeing the evolution of his next films. The dark theme contrasted with the back drops of London, which was nice to see. Some parts were a tad bit violent but added to the suspense. Unsure why there are some bad reviews as it was thoroughly enjoyed by all of us ignore the bad remarks and make another. Keep the cameras rolling.

When asked why I enjoyed this film so much I would say its charmingly grim atmosphere. I am struck by its mood-feeling of solitude and claustrophobia and yet paradoxically it takes place in London, one of the biggest and the most populous cities in Europe. Its absence of top Hollywood stars is even an advantage. We expect such actors to play particular roles, but here it's different - for precisely this reason you look at the movie without preconception and get on with enjoying the puzzle. With Isaac and Ian (Ingvar Eggert Sigurðsson and Kenny Doughty) you can sense the fear, not of undefeatable heroes or immortal supermen, just people pushed to the limit. At the same time, the behavior of these characters gives the hint that they are not what they appeared to be at the beginning. With his craggy look and a natural performance, Ingvar was especially convincing to me. Joseph (Mark Womack), with an expressive manner, brings even darker balance to the script. Here's bit of sad news - I missed seeing London crowds in the main storyline. To my eye, insignificant details like chatting couples or .. even a stray dog, that would have created a little more realism. On the other hand wasteful scenes and people don't work for me with a predominantly grim plot. What I did find frustrating was the unexplained bits. Why for example did it seem that Sophia(Sónia Balacó) plays the role of an ingénue as well as someone very shy? What was the origin of hatred between Carmichael and his father? There are hints but not quite enough.Although once into the film you get to know who is who, paradoxically there is also some sort of unpredictability, and the final scenes are a surprise. Not only that, there are other turning points in store and an unexpected twist. Genuinely, I against I is pretty atmospheric (the action takes place at night) and in all likelihood it is not a likely film for fans of blockbusters or so-called epic movies that include spectacular explosions, millions of casualties etc. In this story there are no winners in spite of appearances. If you want to look at London in a slightly different way than usual, try I against I .

... and I regret that decision. I was hoping that there would be something watchable, something redeemable about this movie. Truthfully it is just very boring movie.Scenes are placed out of order. Lots of movies do that as plot divide. Except, in this movie, its nonsensical. Entire movie happens over course of one night. Not only that, but I got feeling that they used filler just to reach 84 minutes so it will be OK for cinema duration guideline. What that means is, script might have been meant for 15 minute sketch. They stretched that 15 minutes into 84 minute bore-fest.I try to find little bit of good in everything. But I find this movie lacking at everything it tried to be. It tries to glorify murdering own parent, torture, Russian roulette, and killing people. But it does so tastelessly, stupidly, without tact or sense, and without organized time-line.If I did not commit myself to seeing entire movie so I can give it fair review, I would not have bothered to finish watching it. As a matter of fact it took me three attempts to get through its 84 minutes as first two it was putting me to sleep.Having endured this movie, I would have to advise others against watching it.
