Based on the journal entries of Rachel Joy Scott, the first student killed in the Columbine High School shooting in 1999. She was the first person Harris and Klebold saw in their desire to kill as many people as possible, not because she was religious, as this movie will have you believe.

Here's the thing, what happened at Columbine was a tragedy. And it was inevitable that somebody would come along and try to make a movie about it. The problem is instead of focusing on the events that took place and led up to the shooting we're instead shown the life of a young girl who was killed in the tragedy. That all by itself wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing as part of this is based on her diary and what her friends said of her. They even go as far as to portray her as a normal teen who sneaks out of her house to have some fun with her friends and have her drink and smoke. But they really played up the religious angle which would be fine if it actually had anything to do with the story. The idea is that the killers supposedly asked her before she was shot if she believed in God and when she said yes, they said, "go be with him" and shot her. The problem is, nobody else was around to have heard her say this. All this story is building up to her, when being faced with death, saying she believes in God knowing it would mean her death. And yet the killers also seemed to go after those that weren't believers. This is why I say this movie has an obvious agenda. And honestly I wouldn't mind so much. Religious movies are a big thing in today's world. The problem is when they decide to play fast and loose with the facts or reality in an attempt to sell their story.

Nice, touching movie that makes you think about yourself, about people aroud us and the world we live in. Movie that shows how one person can change other people lives and make a mark in the world just by being herself.

A cardinal of the life of a young woman, who, like all young people, has many doubts within her, many doubts about the world, yes even after being old, we still have this, but I speak, in a different way, when we are young, it is something without much experience, are actions done for the first time, so it makes everything different. Cartase can have several meanings, but I imagined that it would be the cure of one, in this case, person (character), or as the mythology diffused, it would be its liberation, purification of the soul. She wanted to be the difference in the world and was, even if in a tragic way, because her thoughts and words echoed the world, after the tragedy she experienced.I'm not afraid, I think it could translate the title, it would be more faithful, I think, but this is one of the actions of student deaths in American schools. An unparalleled barbarism of our world, a world that is sick and mad, like the protagonists of violence of this size, whatever the reason. Yes a Christian movie, because it portrays the life of a young woman who was so behaved, I say this so there are no surprises and who wants to see, know what you will find. Well, you will find a lot of things, but what is left in me is the "Roller Coaster", that the young people are now determined, now lost, but always with all the possibilities to turn around, or to be well.A film of young people, like many others, tells the life of a young woman, who has big dreams and the same great uncertainties, millions of disappointments and some achievements, good to see if she likes what I felt, see the movie, and do your reflections, I liked it, it's a good session, but if you like to see stories of young people, you will definitely like this one, by Rachel Scott in the 1990s.The filmmaker is young Brian Baugh in his second film, made before "To Save a Life" (2009), but works as director of photography of several films. The protagonist is also the young Masey McLain who has made among other productions: The Resident (2018), Because Of Grácia (2017) and Christine (2016).
