Wow, this movie was so great! It felt so very real and true to life. The two leads were fantastic! I'm gushing, I know, but this is a gem if you appreciate great art and the craziness and unpredictability of the human heart. This was touching and heartbreaking and sweet and so much more. I commend the screenwriter, the director, and the two leads. I hope you have much success in the future.

This movie did not resonate with me. Many people confuse infatuation and lust with love. There is absolutely no development that would even remotely lead to love. I found it to be boring, fake emotions and an absolute lack of chemistry between leading actors. While Amy Hargreaves was OK, Matt McGorry was completely flat. I did not like or cared about the characters. 44 years old Ellen turned out to be emotionally unstable and insecure, and behaved like a teenager. Not really attractive. Older women usually are secure and confident and that is what attracts young men. Here, Ellen is not much different than Monica, who is in her 20s. Fights between Henry and Ellen were really out of place and did not contribute anything to the story. Some dialogues where pretty stupid (You dried my eggs, LOL).

I loved this movie. There was such authenticity and passion in the acting and the script. The main characters' lives were fleshed out and you understood them without just an introduction into the romantic relationships between the two of them. In addition the movie did not seem to follow a generic script for romantic movies and added the additional novelty of a relationship between a woman who is a little bit older than the man. It also portrayed this relationship in a natural way like it happens in real life instead of making it awkward or weird. I also liked how well thought out the parts of the movie were- the ending made sense with the beginning and you get a sense of closure which was really nice. Overall, really good!

I caught this terrific movie at LA Film Fest in 2015, glad to see it's getting distribution. The film features fantastic performances from the leads Amy Hargreaves, Matt McGorry and the ensemble cast. And its always great to see veteran character actor Mark Blum. It was beautifully shot (made me miss NYC), scored and confidently written and directed by Marc Meyers. This is a grown-up film about grown-ups. Full disclosure, I have known and worked with the director. Its been wonderful to watch him to grow into the assured filmmaker that brought about this work. This film is everything we love about independent film. Bravo and highly recommend!
