... View More"Two cute alien chicks crash land their space buggy in the parking lot of the motor court looking for Earth boyfriends." That right there should be enough to watch. Definitely reminds me of watching the movie "movie 43" the different stories were interesting. Overall Good indie movie, the trailer was a little off to me but once I started watching it was definitely different then watching the trailer If you liked the "scary movie" franchise then you'll love this movie. Horror hotel brings all the quirky stories together while keeping the suspense to a medium And the laugh factor to a high. Definitely a good indie movie to watch, check it out!! Also don't forget to rate and put in your review like I did I would love to see the responses!!
... View MoreA campy fun ride that doesn't take itself too seriously. I was expecting a bloody slasher movie but instead I found an anthology of short films centered around this funky nasty hotel. Does this place really exist? What a great set! My favorites were "Coma Girl" "The Problem with Clones" and "Life After Men." The musical score is great! If I have any criticism its that some of the stories ended too soon. I wanted to see more. But that's the nature of a short I suppose. I've just added Ricky Hess to my short list of people whose work I need to follow. It's really difficult to write an adequate review without giving up any spoilers so let me just leave it at this, "It's a good ride and I liked it!

Sure, the film's plotting at times is a bit muddled, and the characters a tad repetitive. But you can't fault the cast and crew behind 'Horror Hotel' for attempting to put together something unusual, fun and retro. With its constant progressing from one situation to the other, with a very particular nighttime setting, and eerie motifs, it reminded me of 'Night on Earth' (1991, Dir. Jim Jarmusch) and 'The Company of Wolves' (1984, Dir Neil Jordan).
